William Forbes was a human, co-founder and sheriff of Mystic Falls.

This character was a member of the Forbes Family.

Biography Edit

William was the sheriff during the 1860s, and was a founder of Mystic Falls. He attended the first Founder's Ball and signed the registry in the Lockwood Mansion.

One day, he visited the apothecary belonging to Pearl and bought large volumes of the vervain elixir which was given to her by Honoria Fell. When she told Katherine Pierce, Katherine asked "Did he try to put his hands on you again?" to which she answered, "Doesn't he always?"

After Katherine bit Stefan Salvatore, who had been drugged with vervain by his father, Giuseppe, he was ordered to alert William. Initially, he refused, but Giuseppe demanded he go, and he relented.
