Tonight's Ghost World wasn't the great episode of The Vampire Diaries but it did give us a lot of closure for some of our favorite characters. As Team Anna all the way, I was personally happy to see her reunited with Pearl. It was also sweet to see Mason own up to his mistakes and fight for Tyler rather than get revenge on Damon.
If it's one thing that Ghost World accomplished, it's to set the wheels in motion for next week's Ordinary People that's supposed to feature a major flashback about the Original family. Elijah, Klaus, Rebekah and the Original Mother? Yes, please! And who isn't curious about the Original Witch now that her necklace is virtually indestructible?
How long must we wait to find out if Katherine is alive!? While I'm fairly sure that The Vampire Diaries must have Katherine, The Vampire Diaries is also well-known for killing off its most beloved characters. Let's hope that Michael didn't drain her completely!
The highlight of the episode was definitely the return of Lexi, the fun and carefree friend to Stefan. With her beyond-the-grave compulsion powers, Lexi performed a little "Ripper Detox 101" on Stefan, although she didn't get a chance to finish before she disappeared.
Elena's parting warning to Stefan was particularly awesome as well. Elena is no "Bella;" she won't wait around for Stefan forever. Particularly not when there's another hot Salvatore brother waiting for her.
It also looks like Ghost World spelled the end for Jeremy and Bonnie; could there be a Matt-Bonnie romance in the works? Will we be seeing more of Anna now that Jeremy officially declared his love for her, or will she move on with Pearl? Do we want her to stick around?
Was anyone else glad to see Alaric and Damon patch things up again? I love their bromance! And now that the two found something about the Originals with a little help from Mason, let's hope that the dynamic duo team up again Klaus and Rebekah when they return to Mystic Falls next week.
