"I don't side with anyone.
You piss me off. I want you dead."
-Damon Salvatore
I first got into The Vampire Diaries when I bought books one, two, and five (the store did not have books three and four). I really did not think I would like them very much, but I thought I would give them a try. When I started the first book, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. When I was half-way done with the second book, my cousin told me that I had to watch the TV series. She said as good as the books were, the TV series was so much better. I really did not believe her; I thought the books were just awesome and how much bettter could the TV series be? I was not much for TV at the time. However, I kept thinking that maybe she could be right. So I bought Season One on DVD and while I was shopping, and I bought books three and four also. I waited one week for them to come in the mail, and when I did, I started watching Season One right away. And let me tell you, my cousin was right. I just love the TV series. Now that I've seen the show, I'm not such a big fan of the books. I still like them, but I love the TV series a lot more. Anyway, I spent every waking hour of the day that I got Season One in the mail watching Season One. It took me a day and a half to watch all twenty-two episodes and the bonus features. I started to watch Season Two on CWTV.com right away and when I was caught I started watching it on my TV.
The Vampire Diaires is now my favorite TV series.
