Yes he most likely is but it's not confirmed yet. Silas is a 2000 year old vampire and Klaus is a 1000 year old hybrid he might be able to hold his own against Silas but in the end Silas would probably overpower him in the end. But neither can kill each other Silas needs the cure to kill him and the only way to kill Klaus is through the stake so it's pretty pointless for them to challange each other but fun for us to watch ;)
The orignals have never 100% been the oldest vampires of all time , only the oldest known vampires even they belived that. Anything else they heard was just stories such as Silas. So as far as we know silas is the oldest vampire in the series.
Im interested to see how Klaus wherewolf side will come into things , as he is a hybrid it should surely help him. Gonna be epic seeing they two fight. Can see the end of the orginals though as the storyline is getting bigger than them now.
Remember when we thought the Tomb vampires and the 1864 vampires where exciting and fascinating lol ? madness
Now that I think about it, Silas could really be an illusion as when Damon said he and Bonnie got on a plane, he didn't mention Shane/Silas being with him but if Silas is a vampire, then he might have easily compelled Damon or ran over the ocean or something
Agreed. The Original family believed they were the first Vampires. It is unclear if Silas has sired any other vampires, so the original family is also the "origin" of all known vampires.
Now on the other hand... Silas so far is looking WAY TOO MUCH like the "First Evil" - the vilain for the last season of Buffy... The First Evil had no physical form, so he would appear to people in the shape of people who had died. Since Buffy died twice (the first time only for a few minutes....) he could also appear as Buffy!
Has Silas ever appeared in the shape of someone living? Even when he was impersonating Shane, we later learn that Shane was dead. And since EVERYONE on the show has died at least once (including Matt and his crazy weight lifting plunge) he could technically appear in the shape of almost anyone!
Shane is not a vampire,I am certain of that his blood memory power is not a vampire power. Blood is simply an ancient medium of life ,and it has always been in many ancient cultures. It is a symbol of life and so him drinking blood to reverse his dessication may simply be blood revitalising him magically ,perhaps it was used in the ritual to make him immortal.
SILAS is an Immortal.. wether by TVD'S defination of immortal being that of a vampire is yet to be confirmed.. he projects his mind.. thats a concept and application of telepathy ... he makes people see what he wants them too.. whats to say at that time Silas was even in front of Klaus? Whats to say Silas didnt read klaus impulse before Klaus tried to attack him..? it May well be that Silas is the bigger fish... just stronger and faster but that is wearing a little thin... i belive he has a base of speed and strength ... but he could just project himself anywhere as anyone whos died ( At the moment ) making it look like hes inasnley fast.. like Loki from Thor... hes not soo much an offensive player.. more of a devious defensive stratagist... otherwise he could simply of tortured klaus... or even more just read his mind.. the fact he didnt read his mind or torture him makes me belive that he isnt all thatr he cracked up to be... he uses trickery and unknown telepathic powers to subdude the senses and prempt attack.. hence "defensive".. OR he is just basically an older Vampire whos transformtion at that time has to have been different to the orginals arc to support the addition of his unknown powers.. he cant be both witch and Vamp.. so say evyone... whats to say he diddnt find a way.. people only know what there told... hes a primordial vampire who trancends what it is to be a vampire.. hes all together somthing else... as the other side ( supernatural pergoatory) was created by the witch to keep him from killing himself and away from his love in the afterlife would silas's power come from there? As a wtich if you dont use the spirits your no longer governed by nature thus it is plausible that he too uses some form of expression... why else would he know so much using Shane as a conduit in luring bonnie in.. at the end of the day it was silus who thru shanes dead wife told shane eveything.. silus was a warlock and i think reamins one... Maybe ?? TOO MANY THOUGHTS !
silas is not a vampire when we first saw him he clearly found the term "vampire" an insult he is a warlock who as an after affect of his immortality must drink blood. the orignals are the oldest vampires since it was Klaus's mother who made micheal a vampire then micheal made his children vampires. Silas's can torture Klaus but eventually Klaus would go beast like he did when Marcel and the gang tried to kill him and after that mind games wont work. and wether silas is actually there or not he better start running... because there would be nowhere to hide
Silas is an imortal. Not a vampire. Truth be told Klaus is more powerful than silas because a single bite from Klauss hybrid fangs would make him ill for days, and cause halusinations. Klaus is the strongest vampire till now. The only combetition might be his child Hope which is a hybrid between witch vampire and werewolf. Hope is gonna be the strongest of all the creatures. Maybe...
Silas is a true immortal, and yes said vampire but if you check his page you'll see that beacuse of the different immortality spell he gained psychic powers and not physical ones,Jeremy could of beaten him,if it wasn't for his true immortality. So Klaus could've of easily restrained him bled him out and thrown him away.
