The Public Library is a library in Mystic Falls. It is only seen in Bloodlines. Jeremy came here to find some books about Mystic Falls vampires for his paperwork from the new history teacher, Alaric Saltzman. In the library he met Anna. He was walking through the library, when suddenly Anna "accidentally" knocked down a few books in front of Jeremy. She apologized to him and then they bent down to pick up the books and they bumped each others head. Anna referenced him through the library. Later she brought him tons of old newspapers as proof that vampires exist.
