Miss Mystic Falls Pageant is a beauty pageant held anually in Mystic Falls. Typically, the Founding Families' daughters compete against each other for the title of Miss Mystic Falls, though other members of the town have be known to enter. Carol Lockwood, amongst others, chooses who will be in the competing in the competition each year.
1864
In 1864 the pageant was postponed due to the hunting of the vampires in Mystic Falls. Anna, a vampire, was intending on competing, but couldn't after the vampires got taken to the church and were burnt,but actually taken to a tomb.
2010
In the 2010 pageant Amber Bradley, Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbes, Tina Fell, Blair Fell, and one other unnamed girl were chosen by Carol Lockwood to participate. Amber was not a member of a founding family, but was chosen in spite of this. The event took place in the Founder's Hall.
Each girl was escorted with the following partner:
- Caroline Forbes with Jeffrey Lockwood Hamilton.
- Tina Fell with Bartolomeo Whitmore.
- Blair Fell with unknown.
- Elena Gilbert with Damon Salvatore. (Originally planned to be escorted by Stefan Salvatore.)
- Amber Bradley did not appear at the pageant as she was taken into the woods by Stefan who then fed on her.
Caroline Forbes was awarded Miss Mystic Falls, and with the other participants and their escorts, stood on a float during the Founder's Day Parade.
2010
Another pageant was held in late 2010.
Each girl was escorted with the following partner:
- Valerie Fell with Dylan Clark.
- Amber Wolverton with Hector Linsey.
- Michelle Cunningham with unknown
- Brianna Johnson with unknown.
- Katherine Wilson with Eric Hanson.
- April Young with Matt Donovan. (Originally planned to be escorted by Jeremy Gilbert.)
April Young was awarded Miss Mystic Falls.

Trivia
- The event occurred in the Season One episode Miss Mystic Falls.
- In the episode Dangerous Liaisons, Caroline mentions to Klaus that she is Miss Mystic Falls.
- Another pageant was featured in the seventh episode of Season Four, titled My Brother's Keeper.
- Season 4 Pageant, from episode 7, took place in October, same year as Season 1 pageant, meaning 2 pageants in 1 year
- April Young is the new Miss Mystic Falls, replacing Caroline.
- This is the second event to happen twice, with the first being the Back to School Party, which took place in the first episode of Season One and the Season Three episode Smells Like Teen Spirit, respectively.
- April Young seems to resemble Elena Gilbert from the first pageant. April planned to be escorted by Jeremy Gilbert, but he didn't appeared and Matt Donovan took his position, just like Elena planned to be escorted by Stefan Salvatore, but he didn't appeared and Damon Salvatore took his position.
