but its like I said, if there are no stakes or stakes I dont really care about, then I really dont care for the fight. So im pretty much screwed at this point, im running out of things to get excited about in my movies, shows and video games.
Forgot all about TF. While I wont be watching tonight, I will later since I caught up over the break. Still behind on LoT though. But since they announced that Wally will be appearing, I'm motivated to catch up now.
Couldn't care less about Black Lightning. Just seems uninteresting and cheap. I much would've preferred Static Shock. That I can get behind
Yeah, I heard. I'm still not convinced it will happen. There's so much working against the spin off and nothing working for it. But should the impossible happen and hell indeed freezes over long enough for the spin off to be picked up, you all will be in my prayers. No way in hell am I watching.
In my experience, most people either leave a disclaimer in the description, saying they don't own any of the content featured in the video or they directly credit where they got the images an/or vids from.
u know going back to van helsing for a second, the show/writers better try their hardest to make these elders and dark one very likable cause we all fell in love with the mikaelson family and they are trying to remake that on that show, maybe even a spin off will happen but if so I dont want every original to have a love interest, i just dont. But I doubt a spin off would happen, it worked with TO, Im not sure it would work with van helsing
A spin off isn't happen. VH's ratings are absolute shit. There's no way a spin off would do any better. But yeah, as far as ancient vampires go, it wouldn't hurt to develop them into likable characters
You know I wasn't going to at first, but I decided to watch the Black Lightning pilot. It was pretty awesome. So, if you're looking for a super hero show that's worth watching, I'd say give that a chance. The Flash has been incredibly boring. Of course I heard about Wally moving to LoT as a series regular. I'm hype af. He'll appear a lot more on LoT than he does on TF. But of course I realize that they might have to depower him which is cause for concern
i do think you should rethink not watching TO and the hope diaries cause I think we're going to get new creatures out of it. Julie is smart enough to know that a love triangle isnt enough to cater to all the TOVD fans, there has to be something mythological and cool to draw in fans. And she knows the vampire-werewolf-witch chapter has been done to death. Like the only kind of that I want to see is a pure blooded werewolf that is more powerful than an original which is what the beast shouldve been, not another vampire cause we've had a vampire, witch and human more powerful than an original but never a werewolf. And their bite would have to be infused with white oak cause as we know, regular venom cannot kill an original.
Nah. I'm good. I'm done torturing myself. TO only annoys the fuck outta me when I watch it. The last new creatures were the Sirens. And we all remember how that went. Gonna have to pass on another Sybil. I think you're giving JP too much credit though. She's known for years that love triangles weren't enough and that the reception of it wasn't good. That didn't stop her. JP time jumped Hope just so that she could be old enough to be thrown into a relationship. That says it all. I'm not interested in seeing Hope, Hayley and Caroline on my screen every week. Not to mention the nonsense storylines, plotholes and retcons that comes with JP's leadership. It's cool you have faith for a better series, but just be prepared to be let down. She's done it too many times before. Fool me once....
I'll be watching the remaining episodes of The Flash, LoT, Riverdale, and probably Black Lightning, all of which will probably end around the same time. After that, I'll be waiting for the Walking Dead and Sabrina to air. That'll be it.
Cool. I enjoyed the 2nd episode. So I'll probably keep watching.
are you going to try to watch these shows?-stranger things, inhumans, agents of shield, dr. who, Game of thrones, colony, ash vs evil dead, stan against evil, the magicians, wyonna earp, SPN, OUAT, basically any other american sci fi fantasy show?
i have another flash related question if u dont mind me asking. But since you have seen the current series and I believe the 90's version, is there ever interactions/fight scenes between other metahumans besides the flash and that villian of the week?
like I think in season 2 of the flash, zoom and king shark met but I could be wrong
Never saw the the 90's version. But regarding the current series, I believe both Wally and Cisco have taken on a meta human here and there. But I'm completely blanking beyond that. Its been so long since I've watched the earlier seasons of TF
since ive deleted that post, ill just sum my updated one up in simpler words
i think there are no more creatures than the 6 that we know of-vamps, wolves, witches, humans, animals and nature, cause I was rewatching season 8 where they asked why sybil didnt look like a bird and she said dont believe everything you read so I figure that shuts down other creatures showing up. Plus there are also other factors to it as well.
maybe some of these myths came from nature, vampires, witches, cade, silas, the sirens and the hollow via illusions/shapeshifting, maybe
I assure you JP ain't putting this much thought into dude. You're overthinking it. But that's you lol. While I agree that there probably aren't any new creatures to come, I think the myths just come from stories and legends, same way they do in the real world. Also, Sybil saying dont believe everything you read doesn't necessarily shut down other creatures showing up. Legend says that werewolves burn when they touch silver. Clearly that's not true. Just bc that particular myth isn't true doesn't mean the entire creature isn't true.
i dont blame u for not wanting to watch TO cause I realized a plot hole, granted it may be a needed plot hole, idk. Its basically the main problem with a hero vs villian story, if the hero waits to kill the villian or vica versa, then it makes zero sense why they'd wait.
While TO is filled with plot holes, that's not really one of them. It's more like poor writing, like Lucien not killing Klaus as soon as he became an UOV. They can't write it in a way that would make sense so it just makes the characters seem dumb.
That's the point. If spirit magic was involved in the creation of werewolves, then Tyler should've been stripped of his werewolf gene completely. He should've come back as a human. But if spirit magic wasn't involved, then he should've came back as a triggered werewolf. Coming back as an untriggered werewolf makes no sense.
I would've made them werewolf-witch hybrids.
Regardless of what it was, stabbing a pregnant women like that should've killed the babies.
Its still a plothole bc vampires and non-original hybrids can't procreate.
Obviously. But beyond that. As smart as Barry is, Devoe has been going on about how Barry wouldn't be able to comprehend the scope of his plan. There's certainly something bigger to come than just a lot of power.
im done talking about new creatures, not with u but just done in general, if they show up, they show up, if they dont, they dont, cause everytime i come up with a theory, there is a plot hole in that theory
its just I want a sort of proper closure with this other supernaturals arguement u know? I mean I cannot understand what would be the reason for making up other creatures like dragons, aliens, etc, what is their to gain from that, just like how in that world, garlic doesnt affect vampires and silver doesnt affect werewolves yet in the myths it was said they do, it makes no sense at all
and u know the sad truth of it all? There really are no need for any new creatures in that universe if you really think about it so julie is somewhat of a genius cause she doesnt have to spend hundreds if not more on CGI effects for the exact same being just shown in a different form
I know what you mean. But silver not affecting werewolves was kinda explained by Mason in S2. He told Damon that it was probably werewolves who came up with the myth that they can be hurt by silver in the case that an enemy ever tried to kill them.
JP's not a genius. She's just an incompetent writer who clearly isn't a fan of the supernatural genre but insists on writing for it. Yeah they'll be saving expenses by not having to use it on CGI, but we all know that wasn't her reason for it.
No. There's no zombie animals in the walking dead universe
It was never explained in the show. But those myths probably came about the same way most do, through centuries of telling the legend of said creature.
Shiva was the tiger's name. As for future zombie animals, I wouldn't count on it. I remember reading an interveiw with the showrunner, I think. He gave a reason for why there was no zombie animals. But that was a while ago. So I cant remember it.
I figured as much. Keyboard warrioring is at an all time high. Shit talking behind screens has never been so easy. Like I said, don't worry about it. I've come crossed my fair share of disgruntled anons. I don't put any thought into it other than wondering just how old this person is and if they're even old enough to have a wiki account.
i will tell u one thing that might make me happy, one day, maybe this year if its alright on everyones schedule, me u, alpha kevin and maybe a few others on here need to meet up and just hang out and do something that isnt to do with tvd.
Good luck with that. Most of us don't live anywhere near each other. I'm pretty sure alpha is Canadian. Plus, I don't really do the meet up with people from online thing. Too many people around her that I dont know that well.
Now here is how I would done tvd and TO knowing what I know now, not back in 2010 or 2011 for example:
First off I would have made the magic as realistic as possible, I would have thrown out any stupid rules like you can't be both vamp and witch, thrown out the compulsion works on some beings and some don't, thrown out the vampire pregnancy rules, and thrown out the other supernatural rules, I would have made this realistic and accurate as possible. Basically any being made with magic would have access to every or nearly every power. But there would be a side effect, some would be pure human but forget things. Maybe other creatures would be involved, idk. Im trying really hard to think of a logical reason to bring on vampires, werewolves and kitsune cause there really is no good reason other than throw them in for the sake of it. But they'd forget as well, thus explaining why the hero or villian doesnt just wipe them out in 1 episode, you'd have to span this over 22/16/13 episodes. Maybe the desication rule would come in affect for vampires but if wolves and kitsunes didnt get their fuel, they would die and pass on through an actual purgatory! Which I would have made an endless hall of stairs and doors and destructible which all supernaturals end up and cannot past onto peace or hell as long as they remain there.
What else....I might have made their bodies destructible and maybe add weaknesses like wood and vervain and wolfbane even though the magic would be indestructible.
I would also not add spells and enchantments, its unecessary for the most part. I would get rid of the whole witches cannot handle much magic cause magic is unlimited energy
I'll add more points as I think of it. I would change the overall stories:
season 1 of tvd-that is fine for the most part, maybe i'd change the gilbert ring thing
season 2-maybe i would make klaus have dormant powers, idk, i will have to get back to that, idk if i would have elijah try to kill klaus over this rumor of burying his siblings at sea
season 3-i might change the story, ill get back to that one
season 4-curing elena was fine sadly I say, freeing of silas i guess was okay
season 5-the entire season felt like one big plot hole
season 6-also had plot holes in them
season 7-also had plot holes regarding the heretics and rayna, the phoenix sword thing was alright i guess
Throwing out the rule that you can't be both a witch and a vamp is a good move. Not sure why they said it if they weren't gonna adhere to it. Compulsion is spotty in some areas as well. I would've gone with only humans being able to be compelled. Nothing else.
Not sure what you mean by throwing out the vampire pregnancy rule. Are you referring to the loophole that (ridiculously) allowed Caroline to carry the twins or are you talking about the general rule that says vampire can't get pregnant? Also, I don't think throwing out rules makes it any more realistic and accurate. If anything, that would accomplish the opposite. Without rules there is anarchy. I've never watched a supernatural show that had no type of rules.
You do know that getting rid of spells and enchantments is like getting rid of half the series if not more? Can't count how many times a witch has saved the day.
Not sure what you mean about the Gilbert ring thing?
yeah i agree with the no witch-vamp thing, cause the way I see it, vampires are just witches with fangs and inactive powers-telekinesis, earth manipulation, etc.
well i mean they broke their own rule when they had silas compel qetsiyah, maybe I'd keep that rule, i have to think on it
what i meant is that i'd make vampires able to procreate, none of this dead sperm cells thing
i may have to think over the rules thing again but its so hard to keep up with all these rules and im sure the writers only half care
yeah i got to rethink over the spells and enchantment thing too
here is what i mean by the gilbert ring, it never made sense as to how a ring would detect as to whether a supernatural being killed a human and able to come back, the resurrection part makes sense but not the detection of the supernatural.
maybe it would be better if I didnt go after this series cause A.its too late and B.its hard to figure out a sensible way to make werewolves and vampires into the origin. Im sure I could create magical bats and wolfs, idk. Its all hard to think of.
man this was hard, it took an hour to do and it might be subject to change but here it is
tvd- The sign by Mystic Falls cemetery says it was established in 1792, but later episodes state the town was built in the 1860s-simply make it built in the 1860s In the first few episodes, Damon is shown to have unique powers (such as controlling the fog and crows, showing Caroline visions from far distances, etc). These powers are not shown again, and it is not explained how he was able to do this.-he still has these powers, just hasnt used them since Caroline wakes up wearing different lingerie to what she was wearing the previous episode.-make it pink Bonnie's car is a different colour in this episode.-make it her previous car The set for Jeremy's room has a crokinole board placed on the wall, like a dart board. Crokinole is a game that must be played on a flat, horizontal surface, and the boards are usually heavy as they're made of wood, so hanging a board on the wall is sort of ludicrous.-not sure that is a plot hole Carol calls her husband "Charles" in this episode. However, he introduces himself as Richard to Pearl later on in the season, and is referred to as Richard from then on.-stick with charles In the scene where Caroline scares away the crow with a pillow she goes from wearing a grey skirt to being in her undershorts, though there's no time for her to have changed in between shots.-stick to her being in her skirt In the state of Virginia (where Mystic Falls is said to be) if you are under the age of 21, all IDs are supposed to be vertical. However, when Sheriff Forbes looks in Vicki's purse her ID is horizontal. It is possible that Vicki had been using a fake ID, but wouldn't the sheriff notice it was fake, especially when she knew the Donovan family personally, and knew Vicki was underage?-not sure that is a plot hole In all the other times that either Damon or Stefan have been cut, the wound healed almost instantly. However when Damon pierced his own skin to force Vicki to feed, the wound stayed open for the entire time she was drinking from it.-i would have poured the blood in a cup *In the Pilot, Caroline says that Stefan is a Gemini. However, as he was born in early November, he is actually a Scorpio.-either she forgot or just leave it the way it is Logan, the newly turned vampire, claims he cannot get in his own house because the fact that he lived alone meant that there was no one to invite him into his own home. he got no one to let him in as Logan lives alone. However, later in the season, Samantha Gibbons was killed by Damon Salvatore after she had been compelled to refuse to give him an invitation, thereby allowing him to enter the house without it.-let him in his own house It is far more likely that Damon would have smelled the pile of bodies in the Fell Warehouse before Logan pointed them out, especially with his heightened senses.-have damon smell the bodies Although Bonnie and Caroline both describe Sheila as boozy, there isn't a whiff of that after her first physical appearance.-have her be sober from that point on The address that Matt writes on his application form is different to that on Vicki's driver's license.-have it stay the same as the original Elena asked what Stefan looked like in the 1950s. However, she had already seen him on the news of 1953.-elena simply forgot It is plausible that Dr. Gilbert could fake medical files, but how did Miranda fake a pregnancy? In a small town, somebody would notice.-not a plot hole During flashbacks a copy of Renoir's "Two Young Girls at the Piano" can be seen on the wall behind Katherine. This painting was painted in 1892, which happened 28 years after the flashbacks took place.-possible plot hole, the painting might have been made in a different time period The men of Mystic Falls should be fighting in the Civil War, as they seem able-bodied enough.-possible plot hole Giuseppe's tombstone says that he died in January 1864. However, the Founder's Ball, during which he was alive, took place in September that year.-have him stay alive in either january or september If Johnathan Gilbert found out that Pearl, the woman he loved, was a vampire who could walk in the sun, wouldn't he write that down in his journal?-possible plot hole After Damon forces Elena to drink his blood the amount and position of the trickle of blood beside her mouth and on her chin changes between shots.-not a plot hole Damon sees Katherine muzzled in Stefan's room. So why was he surprised when Stefan said that he was the last to see her in History Repeating?-not sure if that is a plot hole Why would Anna turn Logan, then abandon him? Surely she could have obtained the Fell journal without making him a vampire.-possible plot hole When Elena shows up to talk to Damon, she takes off her scarf twice-not a plot hole Jenna's search changes from "Peterson" to "Trudie Peterson" from one frame to the next.-not a plot hole Why did Isobel have Trudie killed? If it was so she could not tell Elena too much, why not just kill her earlier before she could say anything at all?-not sure if that is a plot hole When Matt and Caroline were watching TV on the couch, whenever the camera cuts to Matt, his arm is leaning on the couch behind Caroline. Although, whenever the camera cuts to Caroline, Matt's arm is around her shoulder.-he switched his position of his arms Jenna says that she heard Kelly was in town. However, wouldn't they have crossed paths in the Founder's Day Fundraiser and Bachelor Raffle?-possible plot hole When Elena pulls the stake out of Harper's leg for Stefan, when they are rescuing Stefan, Stefan's hands are still tied and the rope is trailing over his shoulder, then Damon tells them to hurry up and they are leaving the room and Stefan's hands are untied and the rope nowhere to be seen.-possible plot hole Wouldn't Jeremy have recognized Alaric's ring if Grayson Gilbert, his father, had also worn one that looked exactly the same?-have jeremy recognize it When Stefan is telling Elena about John Gilbert being her father, the flower hair clip in her hair keeps disappearing and reappearing throughout the scene.-have it stay Stefan tells Elena he had to learn to control his bloodlust on his own, but in The Dinner Party it is shown that Lexi helped him control it.-stefan forgot In History Repeating, Stefan says that he saw Katherine get dragged inside the church; however, in Blood Brothers, it is revealed he was unconscious due to his vampire transition at the time and only Damon saw her get dragged inside.-stefan forgot While it is possible that Grayson, as a doctor, could fake a birth certificate that claimed Elena was his biological daughter, Miranda could not have faked a pregnancy. Someone was bound to have noticed she had apparently given birth without warning. In continuity, they may have claimed they were hiding the pregnancy.-possible plot hole Anna is supposedly Pearl’s daughter and a similar age to her, Pearl as a 550 year old vampire was able to overpower the 171 year old Damon with ease in There Goes the Neighborhood and yet in Children of The Damned Damon and Anna are shown to be equal in strength.-make anna stronger At the end of Fool Me Once, Pearl tells Damon that Katherine made a deal with a guard who was obsessed with her and that he let her go, but in Memory Lane, it is revealed however that she made a deal with George Lockwood for the moonstone to set her free. It is possible that George used this guard as part of the deal.-katherine forgot
Stefan says Mason only has superhuman abilities during the full moon. However, at the carnival Stefan learned Mason has superhuman strength even without a full moon when they arm wrestled and Stefan witnessed Mason's superhuman strength and agility when Mason fought with Carter.-dont have mason have access to that power Vanessa Monroe mentions that Katherine arrived in Mystic Falls in April 1864. However, the Atlanta campaign fires, which she used as a cover-up, took place in early September that year.-keep it in september When Caroline and Stefan arrive to Tyler's party, she's wearing a significantly amount of eyeliner on her eyes. When she meets with Matt, she is wearing almost any make up.-possibly she rubbed it off When Caroline is sitting down in the dungeon on the Lockwood Estate and has blood on her mouth, the blood changes its consistency.-possible plot hole Damon was able to compel Tyler in Haunted before he triggered his werewolf curse, so why couldn't Katherine simply compel Tyler to kill someone to trigger his werewolf curse instead of compelling Jimmy?-she forgot Throughout the fight scene between Katherine and Stefan and Damon the blood stains on the back of Elena's top keep changing size and shape.-not a plot hole When Damon and Lucy meet, neither of them seem to know each other. However, it was revealed in History Repeating, that Damon had made a deal with Emily Bennett to protect her entire bloodline in exchange for sealing Katherine in the tomb, in order to protect Emily's bloodline, Damon must have been aware of Lucy's existence.-possibly damon lied The blood stain on the back of Elena's top is considerably smaller in this episode than it was in the last episode.-possible plot hole When Bonnie is preparing to send Elena a message she tears a page out of her notebook, closes the note book and starts to write the message, then the camera angle changes so you can see what Bonnie is writing and her notebook is open and she is writing on a page that hasn't been torn out of it.-possible plot hole Elijah was unable to recognize that Elena's vervain necklace belonged to his sister, and his mother even though it was been in their family for one-thousand years.-he forgot Elena came to visit Katherine in the tomb with a full bottle of blood. She poured a little and half the bottle is gone.-she kept feeding it to katherine Rose-Marie tells the Salvatores that Elijah is merely a foot soldier suggesting that he's one of many Original Vampires and lower in status. In Klaus however it is revealed that they're all part of a single small family. This could be explained in-universe as a lack of knowledge on Rose's part.-rose forgot Stefan tells Elena that Klaus is the oldest vampire in the world. However, later it is revealed However, later it is revealed that the oldest vampire in history is actually Klaus' step-father, Mikael. This could also be explained as a lack of knowledge. It is possible that since Stefan only met Klaus and Rebekah, he was unaware of the existence of the other Mikaelson siblings, especially Mikael, Finn and Elijah.-stefan forgot When Elijah ripped out a vampires spinal cord, it was not able to regenerate. However, In There Goes the Neighborhood, Damon's eyes were able to regenerate after Pearl gouged them out, showing that vital organs are regenerative.-possibly it regenerated offscreen In the scene where Elena wants to get out, the key ring is on her thumb, few second later it changes to her index finger.-have it stay on her thumb Katherine says, "Your heart still beats, struggling to pump whatever blood remains. When it's gone, your veins rub together like sand-paper. It's excruciating." However, in A Few Good Men, Elena says, "Maybe this heartbreak will be good for him. It'll remind him that he has one, even if it doesn't beat." This creates confusion to wether a vampires heart actually beats.-have it beat In Rose's dream before Damon stands up there are two white horses behind him, but when the camera angle changes and he stands up white horses is replaced by one brown horse.-have it with two white horses In the scene when Elena is talking to Elijah, in one screenshot we see Elena's hair on her shoulder's but when it changes to a different camera her hair is down in front of her.-she messes with her hair offscreen Katherine is seen wearing Elena's necklace to impersonate her. The necklace contains vervain, and as shown when Caroline turned and was wearing her necklace, it should have burned her.-have it burn her Katherine mentions that she knows all about the Originals since she's been running from one for centuries. However, in Know Thy Enemy, she believed that the dagger would work on Klaus, meaning that she did not know that he was a hybrid and immune to the dagger. However, she is apparently aware of his hybrid status by As I Lay Dying, when she gets bitten, so he may have told her off-screen between that time.-she forgot When Isobel takes Elena to her grave, the birth date is different then seen in an earlier episode, where it was shown on her ID.-have it be the right date When Katherine was caught and brought into Alaric's apartment, she should have suffocated because she was not invited in.-have her suffocate When Vicki shows up to Jeremy as a ghost, she was wearing a different outfit than the one she wore before she died, the Halloween vampire costume.-its been established ghosts can change their appearance When Caroline, Bonnie and Jeremy are at the Gone with the Wind screening, they are watching the part where Scarlett walks among the wounded Confederate soldiers at the Atlanta train depot. Later in the episode, when Damon has escaped and is hallucinating about Katherine, the scene playing from Gone with the Wind is Scarlett leaving the hospital as the Atlanta residents prepare for the siege, much earlier in the actual film.-leave it at the original part When Damon jumps in the water, Elena's hair is behind her ear, few second later it's in front.17 seconds later it's again behind her ear. Then when Alaric comes it's again in front.-possibly she messed with her hair offscreen During the flashbacks to 1000 years ago, Klaus says "We were just having fun." But the word "Fun" wasn't invented until Shakespeare times, about 500 years after these flashbacks take place.-dont have him say fun When Damon is laying in Elena's bed, after she says that Rebekah allows love to "consume her, Elena rolls to her side to face Damon. Damon rolls onto his side to face her. Elena says, "I'm not mad at you for letting him out, Damon." She then reaches to turn off the light on the nightstand. When the camera angle changes and they cut to a wider shot, Damon is on his back again. When they cut back to the close up is on his side again.-leave it where it is The Story told by Rebekah about Klaus' father (and how the war between the vampire and werewolf species began) contradicts the story told about Klaus' father in the episode Klaus. Elijah said that Mikael killed Klaus' father after finding out that Klaus wasn't his son while not realizing that Klaus' father was a werewolf and he was starting a new war between species. Rebekah said that Mikael learned that Klaus wasn't his son after Klaus triggered his werewolf gene. This means that Mikael was aware that Klaus' father was a werewolf. However, it is possible that Elijah's statement referred to the fact that Mikael was unaware that werewolves from all over the world would retaliate against his attack.-rebekah or elijah forgot Although knowing Katherine for over five-hundred years, not Mikael nor Klaus were able to sense that the doppleganger being used to lure Klaus out by Mikael was infact Katherine not Elena.-possibly there senses werent on Being a triggered werewolf, Tyler's wounds should heal instantly, but when Bill Forbes cuts him with an axe to make him turn, his wound does not heal.-it should heal Damon Salvatore is able to break the neck of Kol Mikaelson, an Original Vampire and over one-thousand years old, with relative ease despite only being around one-hundred-seventy himself.-possible necessary plot hole In the Previous Episode, Rebekah's dress was shown to be ripped by Damon, yet in All My Children Rebekah is wearing the dress again which is in perfect condition without any damage.-have it damaged Klaus cannot get into the Gilbert house as he has not been invited in. However, both Elena and Jeremy have died at least once meaning the seal should be broken and all Vampires should be able to enter.-have him able to enter In the Reckoning. When Stefan is running after Elena, he runs into the cafeteria to stab himself but when he turns around you can see the point of the stake and that it did not enter him.-have it have stabbed him When Caroline was captured and tortured by Alaric, she had two pencils through her hands, however when Elena got the chance to escape with her, she only pulled one of the pencils out.-have both pencils in her Elena drinks from Matt's arm but the wound doesn't match the way she drank. The bitemarks turned about 70 degrees.-possible plot hole Stefan calls Klaus' torture chamber for Connor the "Red Room of Pain", which is a reference to the novel, '50 Shades of Grey' by E.L. James, however, the book should not have been published yet according to the show's timeline, as it is still 2010, and the book was not released until 2011. Alternatively, the "Red Room of Pain" has been used elsewhere, and was not meant to be a reference to that book, meaning there is no error.-possibly it was written in a different time Before Rebekah is neutralized, she attempts to escape, however, Stefan uses super speed to block her path. This is improbable as it has been previously stated that vampires speed increases with age, so Rebekah should of been able to escape before Stefan had chance to block her. Also, Rebekah is, if you look at it mathematically, around 10x Stefan's age, she could of easily subdued Stefan and escape, which she did not.-rebekah should have outrun stefan In "My Brother's Keeper", Elena rips off Damon's shirt. But, at the beginning of "We'll Always Have Bourdon Street", she is seen wearing his button-down shirt, but it is buttoned at the bottom. -possible plot hole Stefan is seen drinking at the Mystic Grill in the daytime. Since Stefan is physically 17, shouldn't the staff have questioned him on why he's not at school or at least checked his ID to make sure that he was legally able to drink?-possibly he compelled the staff Why would Sheriff Forbes debrief the mayor on vampire matters and cover-ups at the Mystic Grill, which was a public setting, where anyone can hear their conversations. It would make much more sense to do it in a private setting.-possible plot hole Blood starts pouring out of April because Bonnie inadvertently linked her to Shane, who gets stabbed. Her shirt should be soaked with her own blood, but after Stefan heals her, the stain on her shirt is far less concentrated than before.-possible plot hole Legally, Bonnie should not have been able to question Professor Shane in the interrogation room as only police are allowed to do questioning. Also, Professor Shane should have been entitled to legal representation, and no lawyer was present.-dont have bonnie do the questioning, at least not there Bonnie is distraught to discover Jeremy is dead, though she saw him get his neck snapped in the previous episode. She may have assumed his Gilbert Ring brought him back, however.-bonnie forgot During Prom, they were dancing to "Stay", which is a song that was released by Rihanna in 2013. However, that song should not have been released yet according to the shows timeline as it is still 2011.-possibly time difference In Bonnie's dream, Jeremy has a grave which can be seen next to Grayson and Miranda Gilbert, however, in Stand By Me, Elena claims that there's no more room in the Gilbert Family Plot, however, as it was shown in dream, it is unknown if this grave actually exists.-possible plot hole Also april says she drinks vervain in her tea but when elena sucked the blood from april, she had no effect to it.-elena should have burned While on the phone to Caroline, Bonnie is holding her phone upside down.-possible plot hole Caroline is seen mailing invitations for graduation in this episode, however, this would be pointless as graduation would occur the next day.-have her send the invitations earlier A very small concentrated shot of vervain was enough to leave Rebekah completely unconscious for an unspecified duration of time, however Elijah, who is equal in age and presumably strength, healed almost instantly from a shot of a large vervain bomb in Rose. If they are equal, then the vervain shot should not have affected Rebekah at all. However, it is possible that the different elixirs of vervain and highly different concentrations-possible plot hole Elena seemed to somewhat overpower caroline despite the age difference-possible necessary plot hole
In season 2 when Stefan and Elena go to her family's lake house, she needs to 'take a moment' because she hasn't been back since the accident that killed her parents. However in season 4 when they bring Jeremy there to help him, she says that after her parents died, Jenna made them come back to the lake house, which contradicts her earlier claim that her visit with Stefan was the first since the accident.-elena forgot When Atticus Shane begins teaching Bonnie Bennett expression, he says the witches discredit it as magic and thus, do not monitor it so one can do what they see fit with expression without consequences. However, after using expression, the spirits punish Sheila Bennett for her granddaughters actions.-have them monitor it is stated that the destruction of the Other Side will cause every denizen trapped there to pass on, however, the full reason why Silas' return was heralded as hell on earth was because the destruction of the Other Side would cause the resurrection of its denizens-already touched upon this In Season Four, Silas didn't want to destroy the Other Side—he wanted Bonnie to use the Expression Triangle to permanently lower the veil between the two dimensions so that all of the dead supernaturals could essentially be resurrected. He didn't actually seek out the destruction of the Other Side until Season Five.-already touched upon this Markos states in the story that the universe is responsible for the doppelgängers being drawn together is actually a misinterpretation, and that he is responsible for it. However, the original version of the tale was given by Qetsiyah, who was heavily involved with the creation of the doppelgängers, claims to have watched them come together over 2,000 years (500 of which were before Markos was born), and was intimately familiar with their tale, making it extremely unlikely that she would have gotten it wrong.-qetsiyah forgot Damon states his exact age for the first time as being 173 years old, and this episode takes place in the year 2012, according to the show's timeline. However, in the episode, Bad Moon Rising, Damon states that his age is "160-some-odd-years," but never states his exact age, and this episode takes place in 2010. Presuming at the latest that Damon was 169 at the time, even at two years later, he should only be 171 or younger, not 173.-damon forgot Silas's compulsion on the townspeople and the gas station clerk should have ended either after he became a witch or after he died, but it's unknown if it ever was. It's possible Silas' compulsion never broke due to his unique immortal powers, but even so, his compulsion should've also been released when the townspeople crossed into the Travelers' anti-magic zone. It has been established that Silas' mind control is different from vampire compulsion since he can use his mind control on any being and vervain does nothing to prevent it. However, it is correct that his mind control should still be considered magic regardless.-already touched upon this Damon seemed to somewhat overpower Nadia despite her being over twice Damon's age.-nadia should have overpowered him Stefan finds Katherine's suicide letter which talks about running from her enemies. When Katherine is about to jump off the clocktower, her voice reads the letter, however, she only reads half of the letter out, the letter actually reads: Dear Nadia, Sorry I had to kill your boyfriend, but it was the motherly thing to do. Suicide, however, not very motherly of me. I ran from my enemies for 500 years, and then one day, I stopped. I stopped and I realised I didn't have a purpose anymore. [My entire] existence [revolved] around my survival and I'd...all my enemies. Now a new enemy wants me dead. Sure I could run from the Travelers, but there's still one enemy that I can never escape, time. So call it pride or vanity, but after the life that I've led, I refuse to drift off into the sunset. Good-bye, Nadia. Note: Text in bold is parts Katherine's voiceover missed out. Text in brackets is what we think is beneath Stefan's thumb.-not sure if its a plot hole
Elizabeth Forbes has been admitted several times into the Whitmore Hospital (located in McKinley, Virginia) even though it is several hours away from the town she lives in, which has its own hospital.-keep her in the MF hospital or maybe the whitmore has tools that can help liz that the other one does not Elena claims that only witches can't be compelled by vampires but werewolves and hunters of the five can't be compelled either.-elena forgot Bonnie is able to get the cure out of the prison world despite the fact it took the hunters tattoo in order to undo the spell. However, it's believed that Bonnie channeled Qetsiyahs blood to get inside.-bonnie shouldnt have been able to get inside In Season 1 episode 13 Children of the Damned Elena asks why Stefan's father wasn't in the Salvatore Tomb. He tells her that it wasn't built until after Giuseppe's death. So how was Lily supposedly buried in the Salvatore Tomb, as was described by Damon in Season 6?-possible plot hole The Armory had been pursuing Bonnie Bennett for three years to force her to open the vault. This makes no sense as throughout the three years, they had two siphoners captive that could have siphoned the spell from the vault and opened it easily.-possibly only a bennet witch can open it Rayna says magic won't work on her, yet Valerie was able to read her mind.-dont have it work on her
TO: Camille O'Connell claims to Klaus that she's on vervain, however, she later uses her blood to feed Marcel with no negative consequences. While Marcel was shown taking vervain, Katherine Pierce, who took vervain every day for over a century and a half, still suffered negative side effects while taking it, so Marcel should have suffered some as well.-he would've suffered In the flashback, Klaus is seen with two sets of fangs despite it being where he was a vampire and not a hybrid yet.-only pair him with one set of fangs Despite saying she (Rebekah) never takes her mothers necklace off in TVD, in flashbacks in TO the necklace is never seen.-have her wear the necklace
season 2- Sophie Deveraux said that witches from New Orleans practice Ancestral Magic. She stated that if a witch leaves New Orleans their access to magic is cut off, they cease to be a witch. However, Finn left New Orleans but was still able to practice magic. It is unknown if he was still able to practice magic due to channeling Esther and Mikael.-Make it so u can only practice in NO Kol says his siblings were all witches however Elijah and Klaus have referred to them as humans before becoming vampires.Though it is implied that a witch who hasn't activated their gene can be considered human, as only Freya and Kol tapped into their power.-that one isnt a plot hole Agnes claims that dark objects had no off switch but Kol proved otherwise with a spell. **It's possible she was merely lying-possible plot hole Josephine had enchanted St. James Infirmary to be a place where all magic is void, similar to the The Magic Purification Spell. However, vampires such as Marcel were able to enter and survive, in theory, he should have died as the vampire species is the result of Esther's spell. However, this could have been due to the fact that the Magic Purification spell stripped Mystic Falls of magic, the spell Josephine performed could of just stopped the practicing of magic. However, this wouldn't make sense as the spell voided Hope's magic suppression bracelet.-marcel wouldnt have died When Tatia is running away from Elijah, a stunt double can clearly be seen in place of TatiaWhen the stunt double, portraying Tatia trips and falls, the dress tears and can be clearly seen around the right shoulder. However, when Tatia gets back up, the tear is gone-make the tear stay
season 3- Aya, upon giving Davina the spell to resurrect Kol Mikaelson, states that The Sisters are the only witches in the world with the ability to resurrect people. However, this is not true as both Bonnie Bennett and the Ancestors themselves have been shown with the capacity to resurrect on many occasions. However Aya was exaggerating to impress Davina.-dont have aya say that Upon confrontation with Kara Nguyen in Purgatory, both Davina and Kol fail to defend themselves with magic. It seems that both did not even try.It is possible that somehow, Kol does not retain his ability to practice magic. This, however, does not explain Davina's actions although its been speculated that since she was shunned Davina couldn't use her magic among the Ancestors.-possible plot hole In I'll See You in Hell or New Orleans, Aya states that she is three-times Marcel's age, this would mean that she is around 600 years old. However, in Dead Angels, it is revealed that Aya was the first member and co-founder of the Strix, and that it had been over 900 years since she had last seen the Strix's rule book. There is an indifference of age of over 300 years.-make her 600 years Kol states that Davina and each of the Sisters are linked, and that if he subdued her, the rest would be subdued. This seemed to be correct, however, if the link works like that, when one Sister dies, all sisters should die. Meaning that all the Sisters should be dead due to Ariane's death. However there seems to be a loophole around that since The Strix wouldn't lose their coven all at once.-dont introduce the linking rule Davina stated that the originals died with vampire blood in their system, which is wrong since they were the first vampires in history, Esther made them drink doppelgänger blood and cast the spell. However it could because of Davina speculating that since she doesn't know the exact details of the story.-davina simply forgot The Ancestors punish Vincent for refusing to help Lucien, however, since Vincent is in Mystic Falls, the Ancestors should not be able to harm him.As Vincent left the vicinity of New Orleans, his connection to the Ancestors and their power should be severed.-either they couldnt get in or they broke the spell The entrance into Mystic Falls is completely different to that of it in Home.-entrance changed
general plot holes: turning good for another person makes no sense, have them turn good because its the right thing to do or they learned their lesson i would have gotten rid of linking spells, they make no sense at all, at least to me they dont one necessary plot hole is holding back characters from killing their enemy, in order to make it to a 22/16/13 episode slot I might keep in parts where characters simply forget things, cause this is realistic i would have brought in vampires, werewolves and kitsune for the sake of it, angels would still be witch spirits and demons would still be vampires. I might bring in other creatures the other side was fake, it should have been an actual purgatory dimension klaus not trying to resurrect his fallen allies was kind of a plot hole-he might have not known the spell i would have the regular weaknesses of a vampire, werewolf, witch, etc. but this whole thing about only one weapon can kill such being is complete rubbish, decapitation, blood loss, foreign poisons, nuclear bombs, etc. should be able to destroy even an original i might have not brought in hybrids cause their weaknesses make no sense
klaus's blood doesnt cure the wolf bite, instead its something he and only he can activate
the fight scene between damon and alaric, alaric should've killed him within seconds-necessary plot hole
silas shouldnt have been able to escape his stone prison in the finale
season 6-the heretics shouldnt exist cause of the siphoning themselves thing, instead
season 7-rayna was immune to magic yet I think she wouldnt have any magic powers
season 8-katherine may or may have not unlinked herself from hell
cade and the soul thing, he could take whomever he wanted yet he waited, idk why-
vincent was able to siphon off the power of the enchanted thorn stake but they never thought to do it on the hollow to stop her-simply have vincent siphon her powers away
season 1- klaus says esther used werewolf fangs to make them vampires but if this is true, then klaus technically isnt the original hybrid, he and his siblings are.-make them with vampire bat fangs instead
esther/dahlia going to peace immediately was kind of a plot hole-possibly both of them were sorry at the last moment
marcel shouldnt have been able to compel elijah because he was part witch(the hollow)-
btw i dont expect u to read all of that, but if u wanna skim over it, thats fine, basically i just figured out a way to undo most of the plot holes and it took me about an hour to do it. If there are anymore holes, please let me know so I can fix them
but i think ive changed my mind on a few things, like i guess i can tolerate plot holes if they make sense but if its like the fake other side or something like that, that makes completely no sense, then im not okay with it
Different forms of magic allows the user to accomplish different spells. There's sometimes other reasons, but simply put, that's generally how it works.
The hypocrisy in it comes from them judging Klaus for similar acts that some of them had probably committed. The trial was more for sentencing and Marcel wanting to put on a show. Of course they all already knew what Klaus had done.
and sadly, not to do with what we're talking about exactly but I think I know where they got the myths of dragons, aliens, etc. from. I think its representational magic and maybe sacrificial magic, just using other animals to represent or sacrifice
possibly but I believe I said that I doubt all of that is a myth. But I think like how sirens are represented to be half bird and rayna is represented to be a phoenix for example, I think the other creatures are represented with vamps, wolves and witches
its dumb I know, but its the only thing I can think of
but I thought of something if this makes any sense, perhaps there are other creatures with supernatural abilities but we dont perceive them as supernatural, rather they are natural, like a bears strength or the chameleons way to adapt into enviornments, but if they are applied to humankind, they are perceived as supernatural. does that make any sense?
yeah forget that natural creatures theory I told u, even that doesnt work out
like at this point ive just come to face facts there probably arent going to be any new supernaturals in the tvdTO universe, if those creatures did exist, they are either robots sent back in time which would be awesome or aliens which would be equally as awesome but there is a big possibility they are just myths
also to conclude this new species thing, sadly I dont think they are needed, even on showslike TW, they werent really needed, honestly anymore at this point would just feel like throwing in more for the sake of throwing in more and would probably cost alot of money to do so
Marcel's heart regenerating was through magic. Regarding Kol, he shouldn't even have had ashes. When Jeremy staked him, we saw his charred remains laying on the kitchen floor of the Gilbert House.
Some were needed story-wise for TW while others weren't. For example, Werejaguars were needed bc Kate used the power of tezcatlipoca to de-age Derek. A werewolf can't do that. But then there were creatures like Lowenmeschs who weren't really that different from werewolves. Same for werecoyotes.
yeah aint that the freaking truth, regarding the thinker, however i still have not seen the new episode yet so im a bit behind
yeah but overall we need to find out thinkers plan, maybe a final battle on both shows, maybe redeemed characters, some new characters, more grodd and more mallus and less damien dark, he is an overused villian, its like klaus all over again
yep hopefully but sadly we arent to see malcolm or snart again, their contracts are done and they didnt renew them and im not sure we'll even see slade again although I would freak out if slade became part of the legends
another thing I'd like to see, on LOT is since they've hinted at redemption for all the villians except mallus is that in the finale, a big team up happens, like rips time bureau, the legends, along with a few suprise cameos which i wont spoil unless u want, along with the darks, kuasa and grodd team up against mallus and his demon army, making it the most epic finale of LOT to date
but im not a fan of how they slightly pussified mallus, like he is scared of the totems, even the mikaelsons were not that scared of the white oak, but he is still a better villian than the thinker IMO
Snart was a great loss. Slade never appeared on Legends of Tomorrow so I never expected to see him there.
Redemption from who? The Darhks? They care for each other but no on else. That isn't exactly redeeming qualities. They pretty much wanna destroy time and release a demon. Kuasa might change tho. I do expect some kind of big showdown
The totems have powers. We've seen what they can do separately. Why wouldn't he be scared of them together? That's a lot of power.
i dont get why alt. snart only appeared for 2 episodes, i guess it was to help the team move on from martins death?
the redemption thing will cause damien loves his daughter more than the totems, at least that is what they implied last episode, whereas mallus is practically the devil, there really are no redeeming qualities in him.
yeah i guess but they wont actually be able to completely destroy mallus, he is a spirit, okay unless they pull off some garbage like what happened with la bete in tw, where scott threw the pike at him and he exploded
🤣🤣🤣 Seeing the words 'king of the dumbasses' is still hilarious to me. I just heard about the casting. I had planned on watching bc Roswell is definitely my type of show but with Carina and JP running the show, there's no way in hell I'm watching that shipwreck. You watching if it gets ordered to series?
Yeah. He Leo told the team that he was there to help them through the grief. I never expected to see him back on the show full time, but recurring appearances would be cool.
Whatever happens, regardless of who may be redeemed, I'm just hoping for a quality showdown.
We don't have a full understanding of the totems' powers together or mallus so it's hard to say how this will play out.
idk if i will watch cause both writers have proved they cannot handle anything supernatural or sci fi related, idk why either one is attached to this project, probably just to make a paycheck and piss off fans like u and me who watch for the mythology rather than the teen romances
yeah but still a spirit is indestructible regardless who spirit it is, and mallus is already in hell so im assuming he is going to try and be brought back in his skin and blood form which I hope we see tonight, im dvring LOT right now
After years of TVD/TO shitting on everything, I can't believe you're considering watching another show ran by JP and Carina. They clearly terrible at this genre yet the CW continues to hand these kinds of shows to them.
Like I said, we don't know what the deal is with Mallus or what can change between now and then. A lot can happen. He could come back and then they could destroy him. There's no telling.
Just heard about it. They're clearly trying to catch the attention of TVD/TO viewers. Not gonna lie, this almost makes me wanna reconsider. But not nearly enough for me to actually want to wtch the show
maybe him and jackson will have a scene together, its like yeah lets take the cool wolf and have him paired with the stupid one
i swear if i do watch this, they better not make tyler or should I say trevinos character the antagonist and nathan parsons character the protagonist, cause carina is a huge jackson fan from what I gather and julie killed tyler off in episode 3 of last season. Yeah she had him find peace but she was sort of in a no win position to put him there
The funniest part about this is the description for Trevino's character sounds a lot like Tyler Lockwood. Just replace sheriff with mayor. "Trevino will play Kyle Valenti, the popular son of the town sheriff who questions his carefree outlook on life after learning the terrifying truth of his family's legacy"
Things might be different for Trevino this time around bc unlike JP, Carina actually likes Trevino and werewolves and she's the showrunnner. I don't see him playing a bad guy. More like a jackass type character, but not necessarily bad. Apparently, she and Trevino have a close personal friendship. So she might do him better than JP ever did.
They would have to interact since they'd both be regulars if this gets picked up.
Yeah. Especially the werewolf part. She's said it in her tweets before and it used to be in her twitter bio. She's changed it since and I can't remember the exact words. As for Trevino, I've seen BTS of them here and there. Also, according to Carina, Trevino was the first person to help her through a panic attack she had during her first time on set. So it sounds like they've been good for a while
well that is great and all but she still has no business handling a mythological tale, especially if the rumors are true and she twitter made fun of people who liked TO for the lore part over the relationship part
i swear carina and julie do this to appease ian cause ian if you've seen interviews with him HATES the supernatural aspect and prefers the brotherly aspect of tvd which is like again, what attracted him to this role?
I agree. This genre isn't for either of them. If not for JP and Carina, I would've been on board for Roswell. Never heard of those rumors, but if they're true, that's very telling of her mindset. I highly doubt they ruined TVD and TO bc of Ian. He just seems to have a similar opinion of the supernatural/sci-fi genre as them.
Assuming this gets picked up, which it just might since JP has pull at the CW, I would have to see the most incredible trailer ever before I would even consider looking at this again.
In development. It hasn't been picked up yet. But the Julie Plec effect is apparently stronger than I've given it credit for. Didn't see it going this far. CW wont profit from this, so I don't get why they're doing it. But hope you guys enjoy it should the the spin off get picked up. But like you said, its bound to be an epic fail.
well i mean its going to be a fail cause its focusing on a very less popular character. I'd much rather have the heretics or trinity, probably the trinity though cause the heretics spent most of their life trapped. The trinity is more interesting, they were alive for 1000 years without being daggered, plus that would have been interesting seeing them act as klaus, rebekah and elijah
Its going to fail for that reason and bc TVD is a dead franchise. Which is why TO has been thrown off to the side in the manner that it has. Tristain was boring af but yeah, a spin off about the trinity would've been better.
idk if they could resurrect characters from heaven even though I find that a stupid rule cause im convinced every dead character except kai is in heaven as we saw in the tvd finale. Or at least the good ones.
i'd love to see shen min and mohinder in this show
i mean u could argue nature foresaw this and wanted peace to be the final resting place, idk
even so, they could always add time travel to the show, go back in time and save favorite characters from dying. like if they did that, would u watch and who would u watch for? Tyler I know u'd definetely watch for
I don't see them adding time travel and there actually aren't too many characters I would watch for even if they were brought back. But if they were to do so then definitely Tyler. Along with Mason and Jules.
That actually would be kinda cool. The Hollow created wolves so effortlessly. She was bound and there was no preparation for it. She just did it.
yeah like there is some explanation for why there wouldnt be anymore
and to answer your 2nd question, take when wes made jesse, damon and elena into super vampires to eliminate the vampires, well wouldnt a better explanation be to use a bear for example, a much stronger species than a human to do the job?
well not exactly train but they would have went after vampires through the smell of vampire blood, like what the augustine vampires did
again if there are other creatures, then we perceive them as supernatural but not because they have supernatural powers, if that makes any sense. Like a bear has great strength but its not exactly powered by magic. And maybe there are immortal animals out there for example, who knows but they probably dont get stronger with age.
btw man have u seen black panther yet?, i was going to see it but my mom got hurt so I might have to wait till it comes on dvd which is a shame cause i was actually looking forward to it more than thor ragnarok
Time travel is almost always done from a scientific stand point in films and tv shows. Too many examples of this to count. 'Dark' is one of those examples in fact. In general, people are more likely to believe in the existence of time travel than they are creatures like vamps, werewolves and witches, who are always written off as supernatural fiction.
the staff has quite a few things to explain to us in the last season
im still dying to see bloodlines of the other originals, not just klaus's and make them target other originals, not just klaus, they really pissed me off last season when they made sofya an enemy of klaus, she could have easily went after elijah or freya
I wouldn't count on too many answers if I were you. They'll probably spend a lot of time setting up for a spin off that might not even happen
We saw Elijah's bloodline too. The Strix. Kol, Finn and Mikael's (if he sired any vamps) are all dead. Sofya having a vendetta against Klaus is typical and predictable. But it's not like he hasn't killed thousands
That final scene was fucking insane, which is why I kept saying I cant wait to see how they pick up S2 after that cliffhanger. My only complaint about the show is that I got confused with the characters every so often bc of all the time traveling. That was an awesome way to end a season, and I agree, far better than the endings of any of those shows.
btw im not jumping the ship to riverdale but i will say its getting much better treatment than the originals is cause we're about a month away from it and we've got bupkus to discuss or theorize on it. And I am convinced there is a big secret they are holding off but if its what I think it is, then it proves that they are not fit to write a television program or film or book or video game script.
but just wait, riverdale will become the next TO with barely any promotion from the CW, cause between black lightning, life sentence and all their new shows they are getting, they will be chucking out wasted space. Like ive already heard they are going to end Crazy ex girlfriend and jane the virgin. They might even end flash and LOT after this season.
also going back to dark for a second, I believe I was the editor on IMDB who edited it in for people to see worldwide that dark is a science fiction show, otherwise people would have thought by the sypnosis its just a regular crime drama
Of course it's getting better treatment. TO is part of a dead franchise while RD is very much alive and bringing in money for the network. There's no secret. It's just a business and it's that simple. They couldn't care less about TO right now. So they arent promoting it any sooner than they have to. They're not gonna waste money on a dead show.
Any show can become the next TO, but RD is showing no signs of it. We were getting promotion months in advance. As for Life sentence, that flopped it's first week. They're ending CEG and JTV bc they've run their course. No one even expected those shows to last that long on CW. But there's literally no reason to believe that TF or LoT will end.
I'm pretty sure there will be no pay off. It's perfectly logical that a network wouldn't waste money promoting a dead show. It happens all the time. Circle of life my friend. One show's death can bring life to another show.
I have no interest in watching life sentence, but the ratings for the pilot were trash af. It might not get a 2nd season.
There's thousands of villains with the DC comic world not to mention that they can make up villains. I dont see how they're running out.
Neither TF nor LoT is about introducing supernatural abilities. TF is Barry trying to protect his city and LoT is time traveling. I guarantee you the CW isn't pulling the plug on two of their most successful shows bc of powers or lack thereof.
