Im not sure if your the person to talk to about this so if not can you point us in the right direction?
I am writing to you to invite any interested members of your The Vampire Diaries wiki page to assist with the creation of questions for a new quiz game application that is currently under development.
This is a mobile application which has been under development for a year and will be released onto the Google play store, the Windows Phone store and the Apple store later on this year.
We are looking for keen volunteers who would be willing to create questions for The Vampire Diaries, each volunteer would be assigned a single series of the show (or more if they are willing) and would be asked to create around 45 questions per episode of this show.
The questions would be created using a Question Builder that we have created for this purpose, it includes a tutorial, question compilation guidance and support from our staff at our below email address.
We would appreciate any assistance that you could give us regarding members of your excellent Wikia who may be willing to participate? Or would it be possible for us to post a thread on your Wikia page concerning this exciting opportunity?
All contributors will be credited for their work and a small monetary reward would be available to the right candidates to compensate them for their time spent.
Please visit our site for any further information about the application:
Hey Alaric! We wanted to run something by you, as part of our effort to connect fans with TVD franchise, we are working with sponsors and partners to place certain content on communities.
This content could be, for example, trailers, DVDs or behind-the-scenes videos for the tv show/movies and would live in a prominent place on all of the pages of your community. The placement is temporary (~2-4 weeks) and is only done with admin consent.
Here's an example of one that is up and running now, look for the quiz unit.
This is a great way to get content that is relevant and interesting to existing TVD fans as well as drive new fans to your Wikia community! What do you guys think about something like this being featured on this Wikia?
Anymore thoughts on this? What I'm noticing about these example units is that they link to blogs (or article pages) that are sponsored, but like I said above, it's not even obvious. So they're not as in your face as you think they might be.
(FYI, the Borderlands wiki doesn't have the unit anymore, the campaign is over... just in case you were wondering where it went.)
