Throughout The Vampire Diaries Series
In Into the Wild, Massak stalks the group while they are on the the Island and during the night he kidnaps Jeremy. The next night he meets up with Shane in the woods, with a tied-up Jeremy in tow, revealing that they have been working together. Bonnie runs into them, thanks to her locator spell to find Jeremy. Massak dissolves the trail of fire that the tracking spell created so that Bonnie cannot find her way back and has no choice but to help them. Possessing all of the requirements to raise Silas, they set off for his tomb.
In Down the Rabbit Hole, Massak follows Shane, Bonnie and Jeremy into the cave where Silas lies. He then states he won't go any further and wants Shane to hand over his payment, which turns out to be Silas' Headstone. He takes it and leaves, while Shane reveals to a surprised Bonnie that the stone is very valuable to some witches. Later in the forest, Damon and Vaughn discover his body, and they guess that an unknown party must have killed him. After it is revealed that Katherine was the unknown player on the island, and that she killed Massak and absconded with the headstone.
Not much of Massak's personality had been shown. Given that he wanted Silas's headstone from Shane, it could be implied that he may or may not have wanted Silas to be awakened. Also, Massak would have done whatever was necessary to ensure his goals are completed. This shows that Massak may have little regard for other people that get in the way of his goals.
He has very long dark brown dreadlocks and dark eyes. His appearance is made more distinct by the white tribal markings painted on his face.
