BiographyEdit

Justin Smith was born on April 8, 1980 in Florida. A native Floridian, he has been working in commercial, film and television since landing his first commercial for a surf shop when he was 19. He was raised in a small town outside of Orlando, FL where his father was firefighter and his mother was a hard-working single mom. Justin soon realized he wasn't going to be professional athlete so he switched his focus to a passion he had always dreamed about and began to study acting. He started acting on stage in school and in community theatre keeping to just stage acting through college.

Then in 2002 Justin was cast in his first feature film starring alongside Al Lewis (Grandpa Munster) in the indie film Night Terror. He continued to stay persistent, work hard and study acting along the way booking commercials and smaller roles in film. Still though, Justin wasn't quite sure how he was going to survive on just acting. So, he filled in the slow times by working in sales, construction and occasionally picking up jobs at the local theme park. Justin gained some momentum when The Daily Buzz picked him up to co-host the nationally syndicated show interviewing celebrities like Nicholas Cage and John Travolta. However in 2005 he left The Daily Buzz when he booked the role of a lifetime that took him to South Africa to begin work on The Silent Fall.

It is a film that brings much needed attention to an almost forgotten trouble in the United States. He spent 3 months filming throughout South Africa gaining some much appreciated life experience. Justin came back to the states and went to work on a series of national commercials and landed his first major acting role on American television in As The World Turns on CBS. Since then Justin continues to work in film and television making guest appearances in shows like The Vampire Diaries on The CW and most recently on the Lifetime hit series Drop Dead Diva.
