...It's complicated. And having all 206 bones in your body cracking sucks, it really does. But, when you're running through the woods under a full moon with no thought of pain or trouble, just freedom... There is no greater feeling in the world.

Hayley Marshall-Kenner (born Andrea Labonair) was a main character of The Originals. She was first introduced in The Vampire Diaries as a werewolf who later on became a hybrid in The Originals. She was described as "gorgeous, but tough as nails and also very protective".

Hayley was the mother of the first naturally born tribrid, Hope Mikaelson, the daughter she had with the Original Hybrid, Niklaus Mikaelson. She was also the wife of Jackson Kenner and was the alpha of the Crescent Wolf Pack.

She was born as Andrea Labonair in New Orleans into one of the two ruling families of the Crescent Wolf Clan, but her mother and father were killed by Richard Xavier Dumas. Marcel Gerard was able to get her out of town after her parents' death. She was adopted by a human family but they kicked her out after her first kill and transformation on a full moon. She then traveled the country, met and began to work with Atticus Shane, who promised her a reunion with her late parents. She then met and helped Tyler Lockwood to break his sire bond to Klaus. However, he kept his real identity a secret from her.

Hayley later came to Mystic Falls looking for Tyler and began to help him break the sire bonds of some of Klaus' other hybrids in order to sacrifice them. After this revelation, she fled town and began working with Katherine Pierce. However, Katherine sent Will to kill Hayley when she had stopped finding her useful. Klaus saved her and they became allies, and they slept together once on a drunken whim. He was interested to learn that she had a birthmark which also belonged to a particular bloodline of werewolves he had met before.

This leads her to leave for New Orleans to investigate her origins. While there, she met Jane-Anne and Sophie Deveraux, who detected her pregnancy. The Deveraux sisters then intended to use her to gain the Mikaelsons' help against Marcel and to also complete The Harvest and bring back their daughter and niece; Monique. This pulled Hayley into a conflict involving the supernatural community and she even became a member of The Faction as a representative of the Crescent Clan.

She also became close to the Original Family, forming a strong friendship with Rebekah, pursuing her love-hate relationship with Klaus and beginning a kind of romance with Elijah. She then gave birth to her healthy baby girl, Hope, and was killed by Monique Deveraux as she held her daughter for the first time, because the New Orleans Coven wanted to sacrifice Hope, following Hope's paternal grandmother, Esther, orders. However, due to Hope's blood running through her mother's veins, this made Hayley a hybrid and she succeeded to kill the witches and take her baby back.

In order to keep a promise to herself and to her baby, she decided to give Hope temporarily to her Aunt Rebekah, to keep her safe. After taking revenge for her daughter, she desperately trying to find a way to bring Hope back by regaining her family power over the werewolves. After six months apart, she was reunited with Hope.

Hayley eventually married Jackson Kenner. Their marriage united several wolf packs who in turn swore to protect Hope from any threats, including the threat from Hope's great aunt Dahlia. Jackson forces Hayley to decide between the Mikaelsons and the pack, and Hayley, believing the Mikaelsons will fall to Dahlia, decides to run away with Hope.

Unfortunately, when she tries to take her daughter away from Klaus, which fails miserably when Klaus teams up with Dahlia, Klaus took his daughter back, and had Dahlia place her under the Crescent Curse as punishment for trying to take Hope away from him.

Hayley was released from the curse by Davina Claire six months later and is reunited with her daughter. Hayley and Klaus fight, after which Hayley takes her daughter and moves over the road into an apartment with Hope and Jackson to begin a new life.

Hayley was a member of the Labonair Family, which once resided in the French Quarter of New Orleans. She was also a member of the Kenner Family through her marriage to Jackson Kenner and had ties to the Mikaelson Family and the North East Atlantic Pack via her daughter.

Early History[]

Andrea Labonair was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 6, 1991, into the Labonair Family. The Labonair family was one of the two royal families which ruled the Crescent Wolf Clan, which itself ran the French Quarter. As a baby, she was betrothed to Jackson, the heir of the second family of royalty in order to unite the two bloodlines which had grown apart due to in-fighting. Shortly after her birth, her parents were killed by her own people, later revealed to be Jackson's grandfather. Marcel Gerard (the leader of the vampires and an acquaintance of her parents) found her in her cradle. He took her, protecting her (following his rules about kids). When he asked a witch, Brynne Deveraux, possessed by Celeste Dubois to curse the Crescent Clan to stop them he spared Andrea to give her a better start in life. Instead to keep her for his own ends he gave her to Father Kieran who found her a new home.

Andrea was adopted by another family, and was renamed Hayley Marshall, unaware of her past and her werewolf gene. She triggered the werewolf curse when she was drunk on a boat trip and accidentally killed someone. She transformed for the first time in her adoptive parents' living room; after wreaking havoc on their house they kicked her out when she was 13.

Hayley had been on her own since then, occasionally joining up with wolf packs but never staying anywhere for too long. She has a mark on her back which looks like a crescent moon which she had assumed was just a birthmark and thought nothing more of it.

He tells her he got the gene from his dad and asks her about her parents. She tells him she never knew her real parents and that she triggered the gene by accidentally killing someone in a boating accident while she was drunk. Tyler subtly asks if she knows Shane, but she claims she doesn't.

Hayley

During the Winter Wonderland charity event, Tyler tells Caroline that Hayley has found a powerful witch who can use a spell to transport Klaus into someone else's body. When he reveals that he has volunteered to house Klaus' essence and be buried in concrete, Caroline, after much tension with Tyler and the hybrids, eventually has the idea that they should use Rebekah's body instead. Worried about changing the plan, Hayley texts Shane about having problems, but he merely tells her to fix it. Hayley then snaps Caroline's neck, and tells Klaus about Tyler's plan. While Klaus is killing Tyler's pack, Hayley explains to Tyler that she made a deal with someone who can help her find her real family, and that her end of the bargain was to provide twelve unsired hybrids for the sacrifice. She warns Tyler that he should leave town to escape Klaus' wrath. She then flees herself.

Hayley's whereabouts were unknown until Vaughn, a hunter, reveals to Damon and Rebekah that Katherine got her information about Silas from Hayley when they crossed paths in New Orleans.

Klaus then takes Hayley to his mansion, where he plays the hospitable host in order to glean information about Katherine. He politely interrogates Hayley, though she claims she does not know where Katherine is. She tells Klaus that Katherine found her in New Orleans when she was trying to find her real parents and Katherine told Hayley she could help her. Klaus claims that he is the only one who can protect Hayley from Katherine's minions, and says that he will as long as she co-operates with him.

Klayley3

Klaus and Hayley kissing.

Hayley goes into the next room and looks at Klaus' paintings, expressing distaste for all but one, which she describes as twisted. She asks Klaus why he paints and in response he describes painting as a metaphor for control. Hayley calls him out on his attempts to soften her up before mentioning Klaus' plans to kill Tyler. Klaus assures her that the better punishment is sentencing Tyler to a lifetime of paranoia and fear. Hayley then reveals to Klaus that the reason he has been unable to find Katherine all these centuries has been her ability to build and maintain a network of allies willing to do anything for her. Klaus asks Hayley if she knows any of Katherine's allies, and she responds teasingly that she might know a couple and she might even tell him about them. Later, after Damon has killed Will, Klaus offers to let Hayley stay anyway. She suggests a deal: her intel in exchange for Tyler's freedom, but Klaus cannot bring himself to make any promises when it comes to Tyler. Hayley draws him back in by returning to what he said about his paintings and control, and tacitly offers him control with her. He takes the bait and they have sex. Afterwards, while Hayley is dressing, Klaus notices a mark on Hayley's back which, according to him, is only found on those of a certain bloodline of werewolves originating in Louisiana.

Hayley 20 TO 1x02

Hayley talking to Klaus

In House of the Rising Son, Hayley is first seen heading down the stairs of their home with a fire poker in her hand, after hearing a woman enter. She soon meets Rebekah, who at first thought she was the maid, and asks her to fetch her bags from the car. Hayley soon corrects her and quickly tells her she has her brother's manners. Rebekah demands where Elijah is, and Hayley looks pensive as she reveals after he promised to protect her, he just left suddenly, unaware he was neutralized by Niklaus. Rebekah however knows something is wrong as Elijah would never leave like that and begins shouting insults towards Klaus. After Rebekah and Klaus argue over Klaus' "friendship" with Marcel and Elijah's sudden disappearance, Hayley is seen sitting upon the stairs, seemingly watching and listening to the two siblings arguing. Rebekah tells her that she is going to help her look for her "good brother", Elijah. As they walk down the spiral staircase and into the basement, they see the coffins Klaus keeps. Rebekah tells her the purpose of the coffins and the daggers and Hayley seems shocked to find out he keeps a coffin on stand-by for Rebekah in case she "disappoints" him. Rebekah warns her she should've left the moment Elijah disappeared and Hayley responds that she can't as she isn't able to leave New Orleans due to the spell binding her to Sophie. Once Rebekah tells her that Klaus is probably planning to have a coffin for her once she gives birth and gives her advice to break the hex and leave, Hayley stays still, stunned and seriously considering Rebekah's words. Hayley is next seen in the quarter, running across the road to the Jardin Gris in order to buy a herb. She tells the witch she needs "crushed aconite flower". Katie is shocked that she wants wolfsbane and asks if she is going to poison a wolf. Hayley looks down and quickly admits "just a little one". Katie gives her the herb, refuses the money and tells her she is doing the right thing. As Hayley leaves, Katie calls one of Marcel's vampires and tells them there is a werewolf in the quarter. Hayley is seated on a bench, dropping a few drops of wolfsbane into her tea and she encourages herself to drink it, "One upset stomach and all this stupid drama is ancient history". Rustling is heard behind her and she stands, turns and is suddenly startled by a vampire. The vampire hisses it was a bad move coming to the quarter- as werewolves were chased away by Marcel- and she huffs she is sick and tired of vampire's telling her what to do before throwing the cup into his face. He screams in pain and turns around, to be confronted by two more vampires. As they are about to approach, one's neck is snapped and another's heart is ripped from his chest. Hayley looks up surprised to see Rebekah who tells the corpse that is no way to treat a pregnant lady. Back at the house, Klaus has returned and is berating Rebekah and Hayley for their actions, wondering why exactly Hayley was in the quarter in the first place. Hayley tells the truth and snarls she was getting poison to put their child out of its misery. Klaus immediately snaps forward and begins to choke her against the door. Rebekah pulls him off her and tells him straight that he says he doesn't care, then the moment anyone thinks of harming the child, he clearly does. Hayley is soon seen walking outside and sits upon a chair next to Rebekah. She thanks her for saving her before against Klaus and the vampires. Rebekah says "us girls have to look out for each other". Hayley asks what it is about her and Klaus' relationship; she has noticed that they say they hate each other, yet even when they do, it is clear they still love each other. Rebekah then flashes back to the 1800s, where she and Marcel finally gave into one another. Klaus found them and threatened Marcel, neutralizing Rebekah in the process. Hayley asks if she knows where Elijah is and why she can't find him to which Rebekah responds about Klaus' daggers, she doesn't want to end back up in a box. Hayley hesitates for a moment before reaching down and pulling up a bag, unraveling it and revealing the three daggers, telling her she found them underneath "Rebekah's coffin" and tells her to find Elijah. The next morning, Klaus wanders into Hayley's room whilst she is supposedly sleeping; he reaches into her back and sniffs the vial of wolfsbane. Hayley points out that she didn't use it and Klaus wants to know why, as she could've been free from their predicament. Hayley admits that when those vampires attacked her, she realized that she wasn't only fighting for herself, that after she didn't have a real upbringing with her adoptive parents, she doesn't want the same for her child and wouldn't let anybody hurt it. Klaus tells her they are very much alike, before saying they are backed into a corner and have to fight. Hayley lastly asks about what happened with him and Marcel, as they were once like father and son.

However before Davina could, Agnes injects Sophie with the Needle of Sorrows, which will kill Hayley's child in utero by raising her temperature. Under Rebekah's care Hayley feels that something wrong and begins to be ill. While Klaus goes to find Agnes, Elijah manages to keep her temperature down by holding her against him in the swimming pool as Sophie makes a potion and gives it to Hayley until Davina unlinks them and the effects of the needle cease, saving Hayley of losing her child. Elijah then joins Klaus to kill Agnes and during Rebekah, Elijah and Klaus' absence Hayley meets (again) Marcel Gerard who comes to their home. Hayley howls and begs Tyler to spare her daughter and to help her to hide the baby from Klaus. At this time Dwayne comes backs and order to Tyler to get away from Hayley and the baby. She refuses to leave his side as his hallucinations start to get the better of him. When Elijah tries to kill Hayley, she is saved by the mysterious woman who had been following her. Hayley follows her and learns that her mysterious savior's name is Eve and she is part of the same werewolf bloodline as Hayley. Eve tells Hayley about how their pack was killed by Marcel and the surviving descendants were cursed to be in their werewolf forms for most of the time, and only turn into their human forms on the night of a full moon. Later Klaus forces her to move with him to The Abattoir after his falling out with his siblings over their betrayals, and now states that his child is the only thing that matters to him.

Elijah and Rebekah come to take her away from Klaus but she insists that they save the werewolves in danger. Hayley meets Davina and Josh for the first time and she suggests that they work together. Hayley then confronts Klaus about him ordering the killing of her family. Klaus points out that they have not been any good for her, that they abandoned her and that he is trying to keep her safe; by killing the werewolves the vampires will have less desire to kill her. Hayley does not get an answer from Klaus about what will happen to her after the baby is born, so she claims its lucky for her that she has a while before she finds out and that she will pay him back. Hayley visits Davina again and is friendly until Davina accuses her of lying and that she is using her because she wants something from her. Hayley admits that she knows Davina could help her figure out and resolve the loophole of the curse on her family, but she would ask her, not lie to her for help. Elijah appears on a balcony where Hayley is and confirms that her family is safe, Hayley thanks him and hugs him affectionately. They almost kiss but Elijah says that he should go.

In The Casket Girls, Hayley tries on a dress and Elijah helps zip it up. Hayley expresses her current state to him, saying she's knocked up and has nowhere to go. Elijah unzips her dress at her request because she does not want to ruin his and Klaus' relationship anymore than it is. Later, Hayley receives a phone call from Sophie who convinces her to help find Celeste's remains and in return, Sophie promises to undo the curse Marcel put upon her family. Hayley looks through Elijah's journals and discovers the area where he had buried Céleste and reveals the location to Sophie. When Elijah returned home, he put together some of Davina's sketches which had formed a picture of Céleste, foreshadowing that something sinister involving Céleste will happen. Hayley leaves the room realizing she was the cause of this, makes an anxious phone call to Sophie who does not pick up.

In Après Moi, Le Déluge, Hayley meets Elijah who is on his way to meet Sophie. Elijah says that she doesn't need to eavesdrop because he doesn't hide anything from her. Hayley says that she doesn't want to keep things from him either and if he is about to see Sophie then he should know something important. She confesses to him that she read his journals to find Celeste's body, because Sophie could help her family with their curse. Elijah is hurt and blames her for not only violating his privacy but also for breaking his promise for him. Upset about his rift with Elijah she tries to help the werewolves who don't have a place to go and hide from Davina's releasing power. Klaus forbids her to go to the bayou because it is too dangerous out there and then asks her to go with him. Klaus takes Hayley to the church to show her that he is already helping the werewolves, because they are his clan to and then advises her to just apologize to Elijah so she could fix their relationship. Later she is at Esther's funeral so they could make her child New Orleans witch and get Esters power to the baby. After the harvest fails she is walking with Elijah and asks for his forgiveness and they almost kiss, but Elijah breaks away and leaves.

Elijah comes to check on her to make sure that she is safe from the witches who are killing to get the power. Hayley asks why he has been avoiding her so it takes some supernatural threat to make him see her. They are both sad because their relationship would be a problem for Klaus. When Elijah discovers that Rebekah is missing they are going to find her. When they find Rebekah they need Hayley's blood to break the spell so they could get her body so Elijah bites her. When she is seen at the end of the episode she is looking for Elijah in the crowd, but Elijah doesn't show himself to him, because Rebekah blamed him for his feelings for Hayley.

In Crescent City, Rebekah takes Hayley to the plantation house to keep her safe from witches. When they arrive she informs Rebekah that she is going to host a party and invite the crescent werewolves, since it is the full moon, the wolves will turn human for the night and she would be able to connect with her family. She meets Jackson, the wolf who has been watching her and protecting her. She learns that Jackson was from the same people like her parents but not from the same bloodline, and they wanted to make an arranged marriage between Hayley and Jackson. Jackson tells her that New Orleans was their city until the vampires took it from them and if their families would have been together they would have won the city back. The werewolves decided to bring the to crescent clans back together by their marriage. As Hayley is the last one of her bloodline, Jackson shares his belief that Hayley is the one who will break the curse from his pack, but then they discover that it was false information from witches who just wanted to trap them. Hayley calls Elijah to inform him that the witches are up to something. Before Hayley is able to escape she is trapped in the burning house with Jackson. But Elijah comes and rescues her and Jackson as he leaves her to find Rebekah. Before Jackson goes back to his wolf form, she promises him that she will find a way to break the curse. With help from Eve and the crescent werewolves in their wolf forms, she threatens the witch into giving her the cure for the curse she placed on the pack. Céleste makes the cure but Elijah arrives and believes it to be another one of her tricks. Hayley tells him that they will hold Céleste until the next full moon and see if she lied or not but Elijah will not risk that because Céleste is too dangerous. When Hayley tells Elijah to either help her or get out of her way, he takes Céleste and the cure from her. However, he later returns with both and tells Hayley that the cure is genuine. Hayley is excited and plans on recovering as many of the turned werewolves in the Bayou as she can find and turn them back.

In Farewell to Storyville, Hayley was visited by Rebekah to say goodbye and told her that even though Klaus is a monster and broken, her little girl will be Klaus' only hope for happiness and she would be surrounded by enemies their family made so Hayley will have to be careful. Hayley said that Rebekah can always come back to visit her niece and herself and that they will all hide that from Klaus. Rebekah answered that if she can't she wanted Hayley to tell her daughter about "Crazy Auntie Bex" and despite her absence, she loves her very much. Then Rebekah leaves New Orleans.

In Moon Over Bourbon Street, a month has passed and the werewolf curse is broken thanks to Hayley. She watches the Crescent clan fight for pack order and Oliver tells her Elijah is planning a new peace treaty, but didn't invite the werewolves. This angers Hayley. She then goes to the summit and tells the factions the werewolves want a place at the table or they will all regret it. Elijah wants her to stay out of it and to return to the compound for her safety and that of her daughter, Hayley however disagrees. Later on Elijah throws a party and invites the werewolves to be a part of the peace treaty. Hayley shares a dance with Elijah and he once again suggests to come back. This clearly upsets her and she wants to know why exactly Elijah wants her to come back. Jackson interrupts them and Hayley continues the dance with him. He tells her Elijah should have told her how beautiful she looks instead of discussing the future of the city. Later at the party Diego and Oliver fight. Elijah intervenes and is about to kill Oliver when Hayley steps in and says that he should go ahead and kill Oliver. She doesn't see the point of making a peace treaty, if all the everybody can't learn to live together and can't see that they have all made mistakes. Elijah then lets Oliver go. At the end of the episode she's seen with all the other factions signing the peace treaty.

In The Big Uneasy, Hayley is freaked out by a large number of werewolves that have come to witness her miracle pregnancy. When Elijah asks for the werewolves to come to the feast of the blessings she declines. Jackson and Oliver however think that it's a good idea. When Elijah is alone with her he tells her that went far too easy and that she shouldn't trust any of them. Later on, Hayley finds Jackson and Oliver talking but they stop as soon as they see her. She asks if this is still high school and Oliver tells her she should mind her own business. She then grabs Oliver's arm and holds him against the wall and tells him since this is her pack it's her business as well. Jackson thinks that she deserves to know and he tells her that they have made an alliance with Klaus. Later at the feast of the blessings, Hayley shows up as the representative of the werewolves and wants to give a gift to Davina but she had to give it to Monique. Klaus finds her at the feast and tells her that it's very bold of her to come to the feast on her own and he's impressed that she managed to find out what his deal with the werewolves is. She asks him if he really plans to go behind Elijah's back. He responds that it shouldn't matter to her as long as her people benefit from it. She makes it clear that she won't allow him to do anything wrong to her people. He says that he knew she was tough and cunning, but he never knew she was a queen.

At the feast a group of men appears, they bring a message from Marcel and they cut their wrist. The vampires struggle to control themselves and when the lights are turned out they attack the people at the feast. In doing so they violated the treaty. When the lights are turned on again Hayley panics and calls for Elijah. Klaus stares at them and walks away. Back at the Bayou Hayley tells Jackson that she agrees with his plan. At first, she was against it and wanted to follow Elijah's treaty. The events at the feast however made it clear to her that the weak will always be at the mercy of whoever is calling the shots. Jackson tells her they have to protect each other. Hayley agrees but she tells him that Klaus is not to be trusted and that they should use his help now that he is still willing to give it. When Hayley, Jackson and a few other werewolves are sitting at a campfire she feels her baby kick for the first time on screen. She puts Jackson's hand on her belly so that he can feel it too. In the meantime Elijah is watching her from a distance. Eve is standing besides him and he tells her that all he wants is for Hayley to be happy.

In An Unblinking Death, Hayley is doing some breathing exercises with Eve. Hayley would rather give birth in a hospital with the aid of drugs, but Eve reassures her that werewolves have been giving birth in the Bayou since before she was born. Hayley is afraid of becoming a mother. She doesn't know what it's like to have a mother, let alone be one. Eve tells her that when the time comes she'll know what to do. Hayley thinks she'll have to do it all alone, but Eve doubts that and then Elijah walks in. He wants to talk with the werewolves about their alliance with Klaus. Elijah tries to convince Jackson and Oliver that their alliance with Klaus is a great mistake. He says that there are some in the Quarter who will consider this a great provocation. Oliver responds that some think the same of the wolves breathing. Elijah then turns to Hayley. He tells her that she swore to honor the treaty. She tells him the wolves don't want to fight, they just want a better life. Elijah says that an alliance with Klaus will guarantee anything but that. Their conversation is interrupted by the noise of an oncoming motorcycle. The man on the motorcycle wants to know who's in charge and then explodes. Hayley is thrown back by the explosion, but she isn't physically hurt. She tries to help the people that are hurt. Apparently, the gas tank of the motorcycle was filled with wolfsbane so a lot of werewolves are badly injured. She uses a tourniquet on one of the wolves, Eve asks her where she learned that. Hayley responds that she got one hell of an education because she ran away from home when she was 13. Oliver suggests that vampires are responsible for this. Hayley agrees and she tells him to stay at the Bayou, while she goes looking for Marcel. While she's driving she calls Elijah, she tells him that she's fine and asks him to take care of the pack. Hayley finds Diego, she pushes him against a wall and is holding a stake against his heart. She asks him where she can find Marcel and if he doesn't tell her he'll die. While she's on her way to Marcel, Hayley calls Klaus and informs him on what happened at the Bayou. She asks him if he wants to help her kick Marcel's ass. Klaus tells her that she will get his undivided attention as soon as he's finished with whatever he's doing. He asks her to stay out of trouble in the meantime. She tells him not to worry. She lies and tells him that Elijah is with her. Marcel knew that Hayley was coming and tells her they need to chat. He tells her that she's tough like her dad. Hayley seems surprised. He tells her that if she had known her parents, she would know just how much enemies they really had. The wolves tried to take over the city in the '90s and so he let a witch put the curse on them. Hayley says that that was very heroic of him. He tells her it was either that or kill them all and he's not a fan of indiscriminate slaughter. He tells her that he has a rule about not hurting kids. And she, as Andrea Labonair, is living proof of that. He figured out who she was after the party she had thrown for the werewolves in Crescent City. She asks him if he was the one who killed her parents. He tells her he didn't. There was fighting among the wolves and somebody turned on them. He doesn't know who it was, but by the time he came to her parents they were already dead and he found a baby in a crib. Hayley asks why she should believe him, Marcel tells her she can believe whatever she wants to believe. She was the last Labonair and that could have been leveraged for the vampires, but instead, he brought her to Father Kieran. He then hands her a bag, it's full of money so she can start over somewhere safe. She asks him why he doesn't leave. He tells her he was born here, she responds that she was also born here. Marcel then tells her that the suicide bomber had a gambling problem, this might lead her to was really behind the explosions in the Bayou. When Hayley comes back to the Bayou she finds out that Eve has died. Elijah tells her that Jackson and the rest of the wolves will need her help. They'll want revenge for what happened. Hayley starts crying when she sees Eve's body.

In A Closer Walk With Thee, while she was investigating about Francesca Guerrera's involvement in the Bayou attack Hayley was hexed by Monique who wanted to kill her child. This leaded Hayley to collapse at Father Kieran's funeral. She was transported to The Other Side where Mikael tries to kill her and her child but she managed to defeat him (more for her daughter than for herself) as Genevieve succeeded to bring her back. Then Klaus showed Hayley the nursery he created for their unborn daughter and stated that he would like her to be part of raising their daughter, putting to rest the doubts Hayley had about Klaus wanting to take their baby from her.

In From a Cradle to a Grave, we see a flashback of who seats between A Closer Walk With Thee and The Battle of New Orleans. In this flashback, Hayley was in her daughter's nursery where she wrote to her a letter. However she was interrupted by Klaus who entered in the baby's room. He joke asked if it was a love letter and asked for whom she wrote it. If it would be to one of her many suitors; Jackson, Elijah or even to himself. Hayley, smiling, said that he has the biggest ego before felt her baby's kick. Klaus came closer and asked "How is our Littlest Wolf today?", nicknaming their daughter in a reference of the nickname that he gave to Hayley. She asked him if he wants to touch her belly and then encouraged him when he hesitated. Finally, still smiling, Klaus did and felt their child he smiled one more time to Hayley and left the room. So she took back her letter to their baby. She tried some name, Zoe, Angela and Caitlin before addressed her letter to "My Letter Girl". She explained to her daughter that her father was here and asked if it was a love letter and that, indeed, is a kind of. She wrote that she never knew her parents so she wrote to her daughter knows she is happy to have her and how she loves her, how she (and Klaus) can't wait to met her. She also promised to her that she will always have a family and that when she will be born she will figure out with her mother.

In The Battle of New Orleans, during a full moon, after that the moonlight rings were created by Genevieve and that Francesca Guerrera revealed herself to be a werewolf and took the Rings, Hayley is taken by the witches who take her in the St. Anne's Church. Genevieve and Monique reveal that they will sacrifice her baby. Hayley swears that they will not touch her baby and that she will kill them all, but she can't move as she goes into labor and only can struggle. As three witches try to hold her she howls and Klaus hears her.

In From a Cradle to a Grave, Hayley is first seen in a flashback writing a love letter to her daughter when Klaus enters the room. In this flashback, she allows Klaus to feel the baby kick. In current time Hayley is in labor and the witches are preparing to deliver the baby. Klaus arrives and tries to intervene but the witches pin him to the wall using their powers. Hayley gives birth to a baby girl and she asks if she can hold her. She gets to hold the baby for a few moments before her throat is slit by Monique. Hayley dies and the witches leave with the baby. It is later revealed that Hayley is not dead, but she is in transition.

Hayley died with her baby's blood in her system and now she is transitioning into a hybrid, but she will have to feed on her baby's blood in order to survive. Hayley is able to sense her baby and she finds her baby as the sacrifice begins to take place. A battle begins to save the baby, Hayley tries to save her baby and she attacks Genevieve in the process. Marcel is the one who ultimately saves the baby. Hayley is informed by Genevieve that Esther is responsible for wanting her baby dead. Hayley kills Genevieve. Fearing for her daughter's safety Hayley suggests that her daughter be sent away while her family cleans up the mess they have made. Klaus suggests that they fake the baby's death in order to keep the baby safe. Hayley takes a drop of her baby's blood to complete her transition. Hayley says goodbye to her baby. She is last seen with Elijah grieving in public to keep up the ruse.

In Rebirth, Hayley is first seen in her wolf form. She is struggling with her grief and her new hybrid self. Hayley teams up with Klaus and Elijah to remove the moonlight rings from the werewolves. She kills a number of werewolves but she lets Oliver live. However she tells him if she sees him wearing one of those rings again, she will kill him. Hayley gets her revenge on Francesca by killing her but Hayley remains angry and saddened and as a result, she tears Hope's crib apart. She tells Elijah she hates being a hybrid as she never wanted to be a vampire. Elijah gets Klaus to talk to her. Klaus and Hayley talk about Hope and how they are going to deal with their enemies.

In Alive and Kicking, Hayley is seen in the bath. Elijah goes to talk to her and expresses his disappointment in Hayley. Hayley is still lashing out at the witches as they tried to kill her baby. Klaus takes Hayley out to the bayou where he helps her to track down her pack. While he teaches her how to use her new hybrid senses they talk about Hope and how much they miss her. When Hayley finds her pack Klaus demands that they treat their leader with respect. He then leaves her to deal with her pack. Hayley returns to Klaus and informs him that Oliver is going to spy on Cassie.

In Every Mother's Son, Hayley tells Klaus that she will help him get rid of Esther. Hayley then takes Klaus' necklace to Lenore. She does a spell which will mark Esther in order for her to be identified when she jumps bodies. Esther later possesses Lenore and she offers Hayley a chance to live her life in a new body. Hayley is tempted but she doesn't accept the offer.

In Live and Let Die, Hayley walks in a room where Elijah is and tells him that everyone in the compound has supernatural hearing, which makes Elijah tell her off and she tells him Klaus left a while ago. She tells them that if he hurts any of the wolves, his mother will be the least of his problems, and walks off. Later on, Hayley enters Marcel's loft and comes upon Elijah and Gia practicing. She tells him they need to talk and the other wolves come in explaining that Finn is building an army of werewolves, and the wolves they're looking at are just kids and they ask Marcel to get them away as soon as possible. After the mission succeeds in getting the young wolves away from Finn, Marcel, Gia and Hayley celebrate and Gia is worried about Elijah. Hayley tells her that despite being concerned where Elijah is, he can take care of himself.

In Red Door, Hayley arrives at Marcel's loft and tells him the werewolf kids are safe in the north. She thanks him, but he tells her she should thank Elijah, but she says she hasn't been able to get a hold of him and the same goes for Oliver. After she is about to leave to find them, Marcel goes with her to help. Hayley calls Klaus and tells him that something has happened to Elijah since he was to be a decoy and has vanished.

In Wheel Inside the Wheel, Hayley is in the nursery when she hears screaming and Klaus walking in with blood splattered, washing his hands in the sink. She wants to go with Klaus to get Elijah back, but he tells her that his mother would anything in her power to turn her against him, and even can't save Elijah if he has to save her as well, so he leaves her in the nursery. Hayley arrives at Marcel's loft and asks him and Gia if they're up for a rescue mission. Gia asks if there rescuing Elijah, but Hayley says it's Oliver. She tells him that Finn needs to be distracted in order to rescue Oliver from execution. Hayley is then wandering around the Bayou and comes upon a beat up trailer, and catches two arrows in midair. Jackson yells at both her and Ansel to stop, and Ansel asks if he knows her, which he replies he does since she was supposed to be his wife. They all sit around a fire and Jackson explains to her that after Francesca Guerrera took over, she offered a moonlight ring, but he refused and was left to die. After he found out about her and Hope, he drifted away and Ansel found him and taught him the old ways of being a werewolf. Hayley wants Jackson to help rescue Oliver, but he won't since he was working with the Guerreras and since the witches have him, he's dead anyways. Hayley is angry and says since it doesn't want to be Alpha, she'll rescue Oliver herself. Ansel tells her even though he has no love for vampires, he won't let a fellow wolf be killed by witches, he will help her. She and Ansel arrive at the cemetery and they find a bloodied Oliver suspended by his wrists in the greenhouse. Ansel says the werewolves know they're there and Hayley breaks Oliver out of the chains and picks him up, and they prepare to leave. Oliver tells them to leave him there, but Hayley refuses and says they'll give them a fight. Ansel refuses to let any werewolves die to save one, but tells her he'll hold them off while she takes Oliver. She and Oliver hiding behind a crypt, until Aiden tells them to come out. Before a fight erupts, Oliver tells them not to and he says that he is guilty, he never lost what he was fighting for. As both Oliver and Hayley tense for a fight, Aiden lets them pass. They return to Jackson's trailer and Oliver wants to talk to Jackson. He tells him that he's the Alpha and that the wolves aren't meant to be slaves. Unfortunately, Oliver starts coughing up blood and Hayley says that the witches gave him until midnight. Oliver bleeds from his nose and eyes, and he dies, which makes both of them want to cry.

In Chasing the Devil's Tail, as Klaus tries to help Elijah, his nose begins to bleed, which makes Hayley pull him off of Elijah. She asks him about a petal-shaped wound on Elijah's neck and Klaus explains it would help put Mikael to sleep and mend his mind, and since she's using it, it's possible it's growing in the bayou. He tells her to stay at the compound and mind it, but Hayley instead says she wants to rip Esther's head off. After Klaus leaves, Hayley says instead of going after her, she'll go after the things she loves. Hayley arrives when Jackson is burning Oliver's corpse and he is angry that it is Crescent tradition that when a funeral is at dawn, no one's there, and that the loyalty is gone. Hayley tells him that she's going to let him grieve, but a war is brewing and the wolves need their alpha, she then leaves him alone after putting her hand to comfort him. Aiden and Hayley arrive at Marcel's loft and Marcel asks why his place is being used as a den for wayward wolves. After convincing from Hayley, Marcel listens as he wants vengeance against what Finn did to his vampires. Marcel says Finn has a thing for Cami, while Hayley tries to tell him that Klaus will go ballistic if she's involved, but Marcel tells her she should understand as well that Cami has a thing about people telling what she can and can't do, which leaves Hayley chuckling. Hayley, Aiden, Josh and Marcel are outlining their plan and Aiden tells them that Finn wants to meet up at Preservation Hall. Cami arrives with a box and she says that Kieran left them for her and that she's been cataloging them according to her uncle's notes. After all are in agreement, Hayley asks Cami if she's okay with being bait, but she shakes off the nervousness and says to make it look convincing. After Cami gets Finn outside, Hayley attacks as an unknown person and bites her, and glows her eyes at Finn. She then leaves and while Finn is looking away, Cami is gone again. Hayley is then seen with Cami and the others at St. Anne's Church, and Hayley tells her she'll heal. Hayley then tells Cami more of the plan and that Aiden will lure Finn to the altar, while Hayley will jump on him and put the shackles on him. She asks where Marcel is and Hayley tells her that he heard Davina was back in town and that he's being overprotective because of Kol. Hayley attacks Finn and while she gets the upper hand at first, he telekinetically throws her down the aisle and tries to extract her heart from her chest. Before he succeeds, Cami puts the shackles on him and Jackson goes over to see if Hayley's alright. Hayley and Jackson are still at the church and she asks how he found her. He tells her that he spent a lot of time tracking her as a wolf, and they joke to which he tells her she's better than the Andrea Labonair he was waiting for.

In The Brothers That Care Forgot, Hayley, Jackson and Aiden are outside Jackson's trailer and they're discussing how the wolves are freaking out and that they need to get the rest of the werewolves with rings to their side. Aiden tries to argue, but Jackson tells him to set up a meeting for the whole pack. She follows Jackson and asks him if he's going to a speech and drink all day, and talks about how they should get the wolves back together and wrote everything Ansel said about being a wolf. After he leaves, Hayley picks up the journal and starts reading it. She confronts him about why he kept the journal from her and read somewhere there is a unification ceremony that bestowed certain abilities onto every member of the pack, and if he believes it. He explains to her that a shaman would marry the alphas of each pack and that each special ability would be inherited mystically by everyone who participated. Hayley considers and tells him that since she's a hybrid, she can control her change and if the marriage works, then the wolves would get her power and not have to rely on the moonlight rings. He tells her it has to be a real marriage since the vows have to be honored and asks her if she's ready to have it for the rest of their lives. Hayley is processing the information and Jackson leaves her to think about it. Hayley calls Cami and asks for a favor, and they meet up at Kieran's old apartment. She goes through the files Kieran has on werewolf rituals and ceremonies, and concludes it sounds more like folklore and fables. Cami tells her that she needs to figure out what's best for her, and think long and hard about her decision, as she'll be the one to live with it. As Cami is putting the files away, Hayley notices she has large pin-pricks going down her spine and asks what's on her back. Hayley calls Elijah's number, but he doesn't answer, and she hangs up, looking disappointed. As Jackson has the whole pack gathered, Hayley appears and tells them she wants to hear what he has to say. A member tells her she's no a member anymore, and she shows her claws and gold eyes, and tells them that she is still a wolf. She also says she didn't need any magical rings to control when or how she changes. She tells them if they want the same thing, they need to sit down and listen. She says she's still a Crescent and is the last of the Labonair line, which makes her an alpha. She tells them about the unification ceremony and if she and Jackson get married, they all would inherit her abilities and not have to use the rings anymore. She tells them it's their choice if they want to keep the rings and be a slave, or be a part of a pack. Aiden decides to join them and throws his ring down, which makes Hayley smile. She and Jackson talk at the altar and asks her if she wants to do the marriage and he says she's doing it for the pack, but he promises to be a good husband to her. He then takes her left hand and asks her to marry him, which makes her joke about him having no ring. She runs into Klaus and tells him she needs to tell both him and Elijah something, but he tells her while they go to see Hope.

In The Map of Moments, Hayley is reunited with Hope and is relieved to be with her finally. Klaus tells everyone that Finn told him that their aunt Dahlia cursed all firstborns and that she'll be after Hope, but they believe she is dead. She is happy when Rebekah revives an ancient Mikaelson tradition, as it will be Hope's first bonfire season. She and Klaus joke and he says out loud what he's writing about her telling Elijah about marrying Jackson. She tells Elijah about the ritual between her and Jackson, then afterwards they start making out and have sex.

In Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire, Hayley meets up with Jackson and he tells her they have to go by the book to make sure the unification ceremony goes well. Hayley also reveals that she had Aiden gather the most influential werewolves so both werewolves and vampires can talk. She tells the werewolves that they need all the help they can get from being free from the witches. Hayley gets trapped in the compound after a meeting between the vampires and werewolves goes horribly wrong when Finn turns up. Hayley and Jackson talk, she tells him that she had sex with Elijah, and he is overwhelmed and leaves the room. After Davina and Kol interrupt the spell temporarily, she gets out along with the other werewolves. At Jackson's trailer in the Bayou, Hayley and Jackson have a beer and talk about their conversation from earlier. He apologizes and says he has always loved her, and he hopes she will marry him, which makes her cry and she caresses his face as she nods in agreement. Jackson laughs and puts the engagement ring on her finger.

In Brotherhood of the Damned, she is at the bayou with Aiden and Jackson. Jackson says they're going to meet a Crescent elder who's going to do the wedding with them. Jackson introduces her to his grandmother Mary, who reveals the ceremonies they will undergo before the marriage occurs. Hayley and Jackson's mind and heart is to become one and they'll share their every secret. Hayley disagrees at first since some secrets shouldn't be said, but Jackson reassures her and she agrees. She and Jackson arrive at Mary's home and she welcomes them inside.

In Sanctuary, Hayley and Jackson talk and she says she knows she has to divulge her great secrets, but she can't and she can't even tell why either. She tells him it's not safe, but he argues when have they ever been safe and the wedding can change all of it. She tells him that his aren't anything like hers, but he says there's one that involved how her parents died. He reveals that his grandfather, Richard Xavier Dumas, killed her parents since they wanted to reunite their packs and find peace with Marcel, but he was hell-bent on raging with the vampires instead. Hayley is shocked and horrified, wondering why he didn't tell her and says he didn't know until Mary told him. He says that he wanted to be the one to tell her, but didn't know if he could. She doesn't blame him and he says if she doesn't want to tell him about hers, then she doesn't have to since it won't change how he feels about her. Klaus and Hayley argue over whether she should tell Jackson the truth about Hope. She tries to reason with him that if they tell the wolves and Jackson, they could have an army of super-wolves who would protect Hope at all costs. She tells him that he's the threat since he has a thousand enemies and that he's so paranoid he can't see that the wedding could actually bring Hope to them. He says he trusts her, but he doesn't trust Jackson. Klaus snaps Hayley's neck and goes to kill Jackson. Hayley recovers from her snapped neck and she arrives just in time to save Jackson. Klaus trusts Hayley's judgment and he agrees to let her tell Jackson the truth about Hope. Hayley tells Mary that she's sorry for what happened to Jackson and Mary doesn't blame him, as everyone has baggage and that she stood by Jackson and fought for him, as many married folks don't do that. Hayley goes to Jackson and he asks why Klaus didn't kill him when he had the chance. She says Klaus is afraid of trusting anyone and she then decides to tell him about Hope.

In The Devil is Damned, she is wondering why people keep broomsticks on the porch and Jackson tells her if the couples are engaged can't wait for a preacher, then it served as something to keep the urges down, which he's referring to sleeping together. He shows her he's making a baby crib for Hope and that he has heard word the other packs are coming for the wedding. Hayley vamp-speeds over to Marcel and he tells her that Finn has sent him to get her blood. Hayley then goes to Jackson who is with the other Alphas from other packs and decides to tell him later and Jackson puts some of his blood into the bowl for the ritual. Hayley then goes to Marcel and gives him a vial of Jackson's blood and he tells her to go to Jackson to get the army to protect Hope going. Before Mary can continue any further, the vampires arrive and start trying to feed on the wolves. Jackson then tries to stake a vampire, but Hayley tells him not to since they are being controlled by Finn's spell. Hayley tells Jackson and Marcel to get the rest of the Alphas to the cabin to protect them from the vampires. After the attacks are over, Hayley tells him that the attacks are just going to get worse and they need to get married as soon as possible.

Hayley on her wedding night

In I Love You, Goodbye, Hayley is packing up and says that her daughter is on the road and that she's going to go get her. She argues that it's not safe blowing up a house to stop Finn to save Hope and he says she is getting married as it will seal the loyalty of all the wolves. He says she's a queen and a queen doesn't run. Rebekah comes in and tells her she won't be able to attend the wedding, and she gives Hayley a dress. Hayley is told that she's a Mikaelson and is one of them, but Hayley doesn't want to be linked to a bunch of homicidal lunatics. After Rebekah leaves, Hayley looks in the mirror and admires her new dress. Hayley and Jackson talk about how the wedding is a little showy and she says it's right for Hope and for the pack to get married. Hayley is reunited with Hope and she introduces her to Jackson. Hayley is very happy that Hope is there with her and says after the wedding, she's not letting her out of her sight. She tells Elijah not to say anything and that she knows she's felt everything for him, but she believes Jackson can make her happy and that she just wants to be happy. Hayley and Jackson meet up right before the wedding and he gives a necklace that symbolizes healing and courage, since he says that she's done everything for the pack, she deserves it. Hayley walks down the aisle and up to the balcony where Mary is and they exchange vows, to which they kiss. She marries Jackson and their wolves gain all of Hayley's supernatural abilities. As they dance together, Klaus comes over and he wants to make a toast to them and as she holds Hope, Klaus introduces everyone to her. He invites both of them and the pack to live at the compound and congratulates them. Elijah tells Hayley it was a lovely wedding and that he's going to be joining Marcel in Algiers, as with his guidance, the vampire community could prosper. She tries to get her to stay, but it is interrupted by Rebekah. Hayley spends her wedding night with Hope and Jackson, while kissing him passionately on the balcony.

In They All Asked For You, Hayley agrees with Klaus that they need to send the wolves to find Finn and Freya. Jackson tells Klaus that he's only giving the order only because of Hayley and not because of him. She is then seen with Hope putting her to sleep and Jackson walks in with grilled cheese for Hayley. He tells her he can help her with Hope and that he's good with kids. When they try to get in the mood of having some sex since they are married, Hope begins to cry and ruins the mood. Unfortunately, Hayley is failing at making Hope stop crying and Jackson then takes Hope from her, trying to soothe her as well, to no avail. He tells her they lost Jerick, and that what Aiden did by keeping them scattered was a smart plan. After they finish talking, Hope stopped crying and is sleeping. They put her in the crib and go in the next room to have sex. Klaus arrives at the compound and Hayley tells him that she's not going to let any more wolves die. He threatens her that if the wolves are not fighting on his side, he will kill them. She then tells him that if she uses Hope to try to manipulate her again, then he'll never see them again.

In Save My Soul, Hayley is at the Bayou at her old shack with a cup of coffee and watching the wolves spar with each other. She and Jackson are then seen sparring with each other and sees that Jackson is still thinking about what Aiden said. She tells him that the pack loves him and that he has to remind her of it. Jackson asks about Klaus and Hayley says she can handle him, and they entwine their fingers and hold their hands up, and then kiss. Hayley goes to the compound and tells Klaus they need to talk. She tells him that there needs to be no more tension and to let Jackson run the pack as he sees fit, without orders or favors from Klaus. She tells him to show Jackson some respect and that he's fighting for Hope, but Klaus disagrees and doesn't trust him to which he leaves Hayley to consider her options.

Elijah, Gia, Hayley and Josephine

Hayley in a meeting with Elijah, Gia and Josephine LaRue

In Exquisite Corpse, she hears the commotion of Eva taking over her body from Rebekah and goes to the nursery. She lunges at Eva to get away from Hope and before she can check on her, Eva telekinetically throws her back into the bedroom. When she puts an infliction spell on both her and Klaus, he puts his claws into her thigh and Eva jumps out the window, and both Klaus and Hayley check on Hope. Klaus turns to Hayley and tells her to get Elijah to charm Josephine into calling off the witch hunt, to which Hayley says she should be there to protect Hope. Hayley isn't pleased and Klaus tells her he'll be doing work as well while they are gone. When Hayley is at Josephine's mansion with Gia and Elijah, she is uncomfortable and keeps clearing her throat, to which Gia goes to see if she can find Josephine. She gets sarcastic and says that it's no wonder Elijah doesn't return any of her calls. She shows signs of jealousy but Elijah questions her about what she wants from him, but before she says anything Josephine and Gia walk into the room. Josephine tells them that they need to put Eva down before she uses Rebekah up like the others she has used. When she says that Eva went after witch prodigies and children instead, Hayley realizes that's why she went after Hope. Elijah tells Josephine that they will defend the witches, Josephine refuses him and Hayley tells her off. Gia tries to calm her down, but Hayley will have none of it. After Josephine says that Elijah is the one who needs them, Hayley appears behind her and Josephine grabs her wrists. She has a vision and tells Hayley that there is a blackness that should terrify her, which leaves Hayley nervous. Hayley finds out Eva has escaped and Vincent joined up with her, she, Marcel and Elijah wonder what to do next. She then says that if Eva goes after her, Rebekah or not, she will kill her, to which Elijah says he will not kill his sister. Hayley is wondering what is taking Eva so long and Marcel says she took Josephine instead. Vincent calls Elijah and he says he was acting like he was on Eva's side so that he could find the witches. She and Gia are in the nursery and Hayley asks why she's there. Gia tells her that if anyone breaks through the wolves, she'll stay and stall them. Hayley asks why she would herself in harm's way when she doesn't know her, to which Gia tells her she doesn't have to, but she means something to Elijah and so does Hope. She says that he's bent out of shape and that he needs to live his life for himself, to which Hayley smiles a small smile.

In Night Has A Thousand Eyes, she and Jackson are walking down the French Quarter with Hope in a stroller. They stop to listen to a violinist and she throws some money in the case for him. When the violinist starts playing a slower tune, Hayley grows concerned and a flower salesman offers some red and black flowers to her, which are revealed to be dahlias. Klaus shows up and puts the salesman in a choke hold, threatening Dahlia to show herself. Jackson is then overwhelmed and becomes possessed by Dahlia, who states she is everywhere and that she's there to take what is hers. He is relieved of the possession and is confused, to which Klaus tells him it was Dahlia. Klaus berates her for not staying in the compound, while Hayley tells him they need to figure out what to do. Elijah tells Klaus Hayley is right and Freya explains what Dahlia did is called "kenning". Freya offers a tonic that will make sure Dahlia will not possess them and Hayley takes a drink of it. Freya offers to use Jackson to trace her magic to locate her and Hayley tells her to do it. Hayley walks into her and Jackson's room and he was worried that he could've hurt her or Hope. Hayley gives the tonic Freya made so he won't be possessed again by Dahlia and he drinks it. He tells her could feel Dahlia and that she was nothing but darkness. He offers to take Hope and the pack and get out of town. Hayley is confused and she says they can't run from their home. Jackson says the fight with Dahlia is not theirs and it isn't Hope's either. At the Mikaelson compound, Jackson is laying on a table and Freya is drawing a symbol on his chest to begin the spell to find Dahlia. Hayley asks Jackson if he's okay with it, and he says it's a piece of cake nervously. When Rebekah pulls out of the spell, she says she saw Dahlia and that she's channeling Freya. Hayley looks at her and feels betrayed that Freya had been helping her, but Freya tells her she had no idea and Hayley shoves her, telling her to get away from Jackson. Hayley is arguing with Elijah about how she was protecting Hope from someone they don't completely trust and Elijah says even if they do or don't, they need her, which makes Hayley frown. Hayley is ready to get out of the city with Jackson and Hope, and they leave the nursery soon after. She and Jackson are waiting for Aiden to arrive, but he never shows, but Marcel does and tells them that the club is the safest place in town right now.

In When the Levee Breaks, she is at St. James Infirmary talking to Aiden and Jackson telling them they'll be safe for now since the place is spelled and no one can do magic there, but she says they are given until the next night to hand over Hope, but since Dahlia is drawn to Hope's magic, no matter where they go she will always follow. Hayley then gets an idea that since Dahlia could only sense her when she's using magic, but the idea is very dangerous. While Hayley and Hope are in the infirmary, she begins to notice vines creeping up outside and inside walls of the building and then blood-red flowers bloom, which she realizes are dahlias and tells the wolves that she knows they are at the building. She then gets anxious when the calls she tries to make don't go through and tells the wolves that they need help right now, but they are all killed by Dahlia. When Hayley hears the tune Dahlia is humming she becomes terrified. When Dahlia shows up in front of the doorway to the room where Hayley is, she realizes her magic will be gone and talks to Hayley. Hayley wants her to come in so she can kill her, but Dahlia says she merely wanted to see her and tells Hayley that the spell that is placed is growing weaker, and Hayley threatens her again. Dahlia tells her that she has no quarrel with her, but if she were to deny her what is owed to her, it would result in her death. When Dahlia tells her that she took Freya when she could remember her family, she says that since Hope is so young, she won't remember hers or Hayley for that matter. When Dahlia tells her that they should be saying their last goodbyes and Hayley rocks and kisses Hope to calm her down, while still glaring at Dahlia until she leaves. When Hayley tells Elijah and Klaus that they're going to the Bayou, they argue and Hayley tells him that she's not his prisoner. When Jackson arrives at the compound, furious about Aiden's death, which Dahlia made it look like as if Klaus did it. After Klaus takes the blame, the wolves and Hayley try to attack him, Klaus punches Hayley in the stomach and Elijah stops Jackson from doing anything else. Hayley asks if Elijah is going to kill her too, but Elijah is hurt by this. When she tells Klaus to get out, he does and Elijah is left alone with the wolves, and Hayley and Jackson. Hayley is angry at Elijah that he defended Klaus, but he tells her he was defending Hope. When she tells him that they have a way to keep Hope from doing magic and that Jackson will protect them, she tells Elijah to buy them some time.

In City Beneath The Sea, Hayley comes out with Hope to tell update Jackson about current events and is wondering why Jackson is burying Aiden in a place where traitors and murderers are supposed to be buried. Aiden might've been answering to Klaus, but he was loyal to the pack in the end, but Jackson really doesn't want to bury him there since they have to go on the run. After talking more, Jackson agrees to bring Aiden with them and give him a true Crescent burial since he didn't deserve it and the pack has lost too much as it is. While they make their way down the river, Hayley and Jackson talk, and she says every child with the wolf gene is angry, and that when she triggered hers she settled down. Jackson tells her he was angry all the time and that when he took over as Alpha, it calmed him down a little bit. When Hope starts crying, Hayley tells him she needs to stop and feed her, and he tells her to get some guys and go to a hideout. She is then talking to Marcel on the phone and finds out that Klaus took the blame for Aiden's death and tells him the pack's morale isn't exactly great, but Marcel tells her that she either be a friend or a leader, but she can't be both, which Hayley starts thinking about. Elijah arrives in the Bayou and before getting into a more serious fight with Jackson, he tells Hayley he needs a vial of Hope's blood and she tells him that she's trusting him. She tells Jackson that the pack is gathering for Aiden's funeral and he tells her that he can't live under Klaus' roof and be an Alpha, in which he gives her time to think as well. When Aiden's funeral is about to begin she comes out and tells him that she's spent her whole life searching for her family and that she has found it. Hayley reveals she invited Josh to the funeral and after he says his goodbyes to Aiden, she gives Josh a hug. It is then revealed that Hayley left a voicemail for Elijah and she's calling to say goodbye. She says she doesn't want Hope's story of her family trying to destroy her and that family is supposed to love and that despite Dahlia being gone, she would inherit Klaus' many enemies and that she doesn't deserve all the anger and rage coming from the Mikaelson name. When Dahlia conjures up a storm to slow them down, they were starting to pack up and Hope begins to cry.

In Fire with Fire, Hayley is seen with Hope in a shed protecting her from the storm and goes out to talk to Mary. Mary shows her what a voodoo queen showed her and that the herb is used when magic is afoot. She explains the three colors and when she smokes it, it releases black smoke, which means there's a hex, which they realize Dahlia was responsible for the storm going on. Jackson arrives and tells them that the highway is flooded, so they have to take the back roads. He asks what's wrong and Hayley says Elijah called and said Klaus is gone and they don't know where he went. The other wolves gather around to listen to Hayley, and she gives a speech that despite the hardships, she has come to see them as her family. But, she doesn't want them to risk themselves any more than they already have and says she's grateful for what they have offered, but she can't be their queen. They all kneel and Jackson says she'll always be their queen. After the storm spell is broken, all of them are walking across the river and Hayley says to Jackson that he can tell the others to go and they'll be fine. But, they all want to stay with them until they get where they're going. Jackson tells her his plan and he notices she's frowning worriedly, and says that she's sick of other people making sacrifices for her and fighting her battles, but Jackson says that's what family is for and that he'd rather be right beside her. After they get through the river, they arrive at a road and a werewolf drives up with a car ready, and they load up on the truck. After they set up camp, Hayley and Jackson talk about where to go as she doesn't want to keep on running, and she says she loves him. Hayley comes into the building and asks him about Alaska, he says he could live there and they smile before they hear a scream in agony and sees Klaus. Hayley goes to Mary and Hope, and notices Mary's lantern has expelled red smoke, and Hayley realizes Dahlia is there. She gives Hope to Mary and tells her to take her far away as she can, while she stays and helps Jackson and the wolves against Klaus. After Jackson and Hayley get the upper hand on Klaus for a few minutes, Klaus flings them both several yards away and before they can do anything else, Dahlia arrives. She asks Klaus what Dahlia is doing with him and Dahlia starts a spell that causes Hayley's bones to snap. After a few moments, the spell starts doing the same to Jackson and the other wolves, and Klaus reveals that Dahlia is doing a spell that Marcel did to the Crescents years ago and that she and the other wolves will be trapped in wolf form except for on a full moon. Hayley is now transforming as her fangs come out involuntarily and bones keep snapping.

In Ashes to Ashes, Elijah is waiting at Hayley's old shack in the Bayou and sees her naked and slightly dirty. He hands her a robe and after she puts it on, she hugs him. She asks how Hope is and he says she's safe and well, he then hesitates and says he'll find a way to release her from the curse. She wants Elijah to promise her that Klaus is not the only thing she knows and that she needs him to be there for Hope. Elijah is conflicted, but sees her sad and determined, Elijah agrees that he will be there for Hope.

In For the Next Millennium, she's magically lured to Lafayette Cemetery by Davina who needs a favor.

In You Hung the Moon, Hayley agrees to what Davina her to do, but without issuing a threat to the witch. Hayley assassins Kara Nguyen and kills 11 other witches as a result of being witnesses. Then she goes to The Abattoir to see her daughter. Upset that she had missed Hope's milestones and after a heavily heated fight with Klaus as she threatens Klaus with a custody battle if needed. She and Jackson move into an apartment across the street so that Hope's time with her parents can be divided.

In I'll See You in Hell or New Orleans, she is shown to be irritable and feels off since she had just been turned back into her human self after six months as a wolf. When Jackson sees this, he calls Freya to babysit Hope so he and Hayley can be out for a day. Hayley lets out steam with Jackson in St. Anne Church where Marcel established a fight club for his vampires. As the keep sparring, Hayley tells him about how she wants to rip everything apart and is worried about it. Jackson tells her to keep letting it out and when she attacks him, she apologizes and he tells her he's not going anywhere. She cups his face, looking at the wound on his cheekbone and she vamps out, feeding on him. They then begin to make out, ripping his shirt and he pulls her shirt over her head.

In A Walk on the Wild Side, Hayley attends the Strix Gala with Elijah as his date. At the bar, Hayley talks to Marcel who must pass the initiation test for a membership and they came up with a plan during Klaus' distraction. She would bite Marcel as he would be his secret weapon due to the venom in his system. After the Gala ended Hayley witnessed Alexis' death at the compound. She and Elijah then converse across the compound and the Kenner apartment. She realizes Elijah turned Tristan and he asks what she thought of him. She tells him that Tristan seemed incomplete and he tells her that he has a sister named Aurora, who is usually around him. When he tells her the relationship is dangerous being Tristan and Aurora, Hayley tells him that loyalty doesn't make people dangerous, and walks back into the apartment.

In The Axeman's Letter, Hayley, along with Jackson, attends Fête de Cadeau as Davina requests them to be her bodyguards as she knows there's some uproar from those who oppose her, especially Van Nguyen. As Davina takes the break from being Regent Hayley comes over to her and they start talking. Hayley offers her beer to Davina noting "You need it more I do" as she gives the young witch advice base from her leadership of her pack. Hayley is impressed with Davina as she admits she wants to lead the covens in a new direction and lifted the Crescent Curse seeing she would rather have Hayley as a friend not a slave. Hayley smiles widely, thrilled by this gift, and Davina smiles back at her as happily as Hayley is.

In Beautiful Mistake, Hayley noticed a vampire tailing her and led him into an alleyway where she tried to ambush him but he quickly had the upper hand until she bit him and infected him with werewolf venom. She managed to take him hostage and tie him up in Marcel's gym. Marcel arrived and told Hayley who he was, prompting Marcel to call Elijah for advice.

Upon hearing that it was Shen, Elijah advised Marcel to immediately tear out his heart before he woke up. Before he had a chance, Shen had awoken and threatened to kill her for breaking his jaw and Marcel for betraying The Strix. Shen broke free of his constraints and easily overpowered Hayley and Marcel, shoving his hand into both of their chests, planning to tear out their hearts. Elijah arrived, stabbing him in the back with a large piece of wood. He then questioned Shen on what he knew, compelling the answers out of him. He told Elijah that they wanted Davina Claire and that Hayley was in the way of getting her. He told Elijah that Davina was needed to power a weapon that Tristan planned to use against the Mikaelsons. When questioned further, rather than reveal his secrets, Shen chose to kill himself, removing his daylight ring and burning to death in the sunlight.

In Out of the Easy, Hayley is talking to Jackson about saving Rebekah. Jackson thinks it is a bad idea getting in the way of a Mikaelson battle. Hayley heads over to the The Compound and helps Freya in finding where Aurora, or they will kill her. Hayley and Freya start to fight Aurora, however as Freya suggests that Hayley bites her, Aurora states that Klaus would heal her right back up. Freya suggests that she goes bite her brother, however, she tells them that each of them has the coordinates to Rebekah's location. Therefore they cannot hurt her. Hayley heads back to her apartment finding Jackson waiting for her, however, she was too late. Jackson is mad at her because she will always stand by the Mikaelsons despite the crimes they have committed. Jackson leaves for The Bayou and leaves Hayley and Hope.

In The Other Girl in New Orleans, Hayley heads to the The Compound after Elijah texted her to help him. She goes over to the compound with Hope and hands her to Freya and bites Tristan in the neck. Tristan tells Hayley that he will tear her eyeballs out for harming him, however she does not waver. Elijah tells her that he might need a bit more persuasion and Hayley proceeds into biting him again. Hayley gets off the phone from Mary who is at her apartment wanting to talk to her. Elijah tells her to go over and that her services are enough here. Mary tells her that Jackson is depressed, drinking whisky and shooting arrows at the The Bayou. She tells her that even though the Mikaelsons need her, Jackson needs her too. Hayley senses that there is trouble at The Compound, and tells Mary she needs to go over. However, Mary tells her that this isn't her fight. Regardless, she jumps out of her balcony into The Compound. Hayley fights a few of The Strix members and watches Marcel stake Elijah with The Cursed Stake. Two Strix members attack Hayley before Marcel rips their hearts out. Hayley returns to her apartment, Mary tells her that she is risking her life every time she is in a fight with the Mikaelson's. She tells her that when Jackson is ready to talk, he should come home.

In Savior, Hayley heads to 'The Bayou' to find Jackson and tells him that she is sorry, and for one night she will stand by him even if the Mikaelsons need her. Jackson complies and tells her that he will meet her back home. Jackson comes back with an injured Freya and heals her with some blood, however they notice that she is poisoned. Rebekah shows up and asks Freya to examine her cursed mark. Freya tells them that she will need some materials, and Hayley and Jackson go out to get what she needs. After getting the material, she proceeds to find Rebekah and hugs her while she is still sane. However, it is not long until Rebekah starts to go crazy and tells Hayley that while she is with that fake husband of hers, she still loves Elijah. The two girls start to fight and fall off the balcony. Rebekah is about to tear out Hayley's heart, but Klaus stops her. Camille gives Freya a box with the antidote to Freya's poison. When she gets up, Jackson looks shocked at what happened to Hayley, however she replies that she is okay and tells Jackson to inject the serum into her heart. Hayley sighs in relief that Freya is okay. Hayley thanks Jackson for helping the Mikaelsons, even if it was not his intention to. They both head to The Compound with Hope and have a Christmas party with the Mikaelsons. When Rebekah is about to leave, she apologizes to Hayley for the things she said when she was insane. Hayley forgives her.

In A Ghost Along the Mississippi, Hayley and Jackson were captured by the Strix and taken to Tristan. He pumps them with wolfsbane and decides to get revenge for when she tortured him. She threatens to kill him if he tries anything but he's the one with the upper hand. He rips out Jackson's heart, killing him instantly. She cries and apologizes to him. Afterwards, the pact and Elijah give Jackson a goodbye as they let him go into the lake. Tristan on the other hand is thrown at the bottom of the ocean for eternity with Camille's help. Hayley is broken up over Jackson's death and asks Klaus if she can stay with them, they welcome her warmly. Elijah tries to talk to her but she's too upset.

In Wild at Heart, Hayley chooses to stay at the abattoir because the ghost of her husband is figuratively haunting her, she leaves the wooden Knight at her apartment.

In Dead Angels, Hayley is seen arguing with Klaus because he is making a lot of noise which is upsetting Hope who still doesn't understand why Jackson is gone.

In Heart Shaped Box, Hayley is at the park visiting the heart of her former husband which she had planted under a tree when Klaus approaches her for help training Camille. Hayley agrees and goes to Cami's apartment to collect her they have a short conversation before Hayley tells her she's going to train her. When they get to St. Anne's Church Cami is discouraged reminding Hayley that newly turned vampires are quite weak. Hayley and Cami spare but Cami only manages to get in one good punch before the sisters show up and knock her out while attempting to remove Hayley's heart but are knocked out by Kol and Davina.

In A Streetcar Named Desire, Hayley calls Elijah that the Crescent wolves found Aurora's trailer. She walks in and looks around before discovering Lucien tied up and desiccated. Lucien tells her to get Klaus out of New Orleans. Hayley brings Lucien back to The Compound and gives him some blood. Marcel does not trust Lucien because he ran away with Aurora the first chance he got, however, Hayley is still mad at Marcel for handing over her Jackson's heart to The Strix. Marcel tells her that he bought her life with that heart. Hayley tells him the plan is to walk into the coven house and stop the desiring spell. However Marcel tells her that it is easy for her to say because she is not sired by anyone. Freya has a plan and tells Hayley, Marcel and Stefan to go and save Klaus and Elijah. Hayley and Stefan are in the trunk of Marcel's car when they talk about who they are doing this for. Hayley is doing it for Hope while Stefan is doing it for Caroline. Hayley tells Stefan its time and Stefan rips the healing paste to draw Rayna Cruz to them. Hayley reaches the coven house and kills the guards. Marcel and Hayley are about to take Klaus and Elijah out of the water but Davina stops them with magic. Elijah is unable to kill Aya, therefore Hayley stakes her and tells her that it is more mercy than Jackson ever got.

In An Old Friend Calls, Hayley is at the compound looking at a piece of paper with a list of names on it. When Elijah walks into the room, she quickly crumples it up. She shushes him as Hope is asleep and tells him that she came to feed Hope and put her down for a nap. She stands up and puts the list in the back pockets of her jeans. When Elijah wipes away some of the blood on her forehead, she jerks away from him and looks evasive. She puts her jacket on and begins to head out to the Bayou, asking him if he needs anything and asks if he can watch Hope while she's gone.

It is then revealed that Hayley has been killing the Strix members responsible for Jackson's death. When Elijah arrives at the warehouse where Hayley is, she swings an ax at the female vampire in the chair and decapitates her, splattering blood on herself in the process. When he tries to tell Hayley that the Strix will consider this an act of war, she gets more furious and tells him that she wants to do right by Jackson, and then storms off.

Later, she is sitting in her bedroom in front of a fire and Elijah comes in, holding out the list, which is shown to have all names crossed off. She crushes it up and throws it in the fire. She tells him that she has always loved Elijah, but since Jackson's death, she is constantly reminded of him, and out of respect for him, she has decided to let Elijah go. When Elijah walks out of the room, she bursts into tears. She and Klaus then leave New Orleans after deciding it's best for Hope, with the war that's coming.

In Alone with Everybody, she walks out of a gas station with a bag full of supplies and tells Klaus they need to blend in. She then puts a trucker cap on him and with the keys in hand, they head off to their destination.

They arrive at Willoughby Lake Bar and when some tensions are shown, Hayley asks for a bourbon unless Hollis still has his moonshine. She introduces him to Hope and Klaus, who mistakes Klaus for her husband. She tells him that they need a place to lay low and is told about the pack's tough times. While drinking, she and Klaus are holding a conversation about the bar and begin to argue a little bit. After Hollis gets done talking on the phone, he asks the two to turn it down a bit and tells her about Kayla McInnis. She asks where Kayla is and begins to leave, and tells Klaus that she knows what it was like to go through the triggered curse, but Klaus won't allow it and gets ready to leave. When Klaus tells her they're leaving, Hayley firmly tells him they're not going anywhere. She tells him that her friends are helping them with no questions asked, despite their own problems, but he continues to insult them. Hayley reaches her limit with the argument and gets into the car to help Kayla. She then tells Klaus that being kind doesn't make him weak and then leaves.

Hayley arrives at Kayla's trailer and embraces her, telling her since there's not much of a pack left, she might need someone to talk to. She then picks a branch and uses it as a torch, and leads Kayla through the woods to show her something. They arrive at a clearing in the woods and there are several personal items everywhere. Hayley tells her this place is where the pack would go to accept what they've done and honor the dead to move on. She hands out the wallet of the man Kayla had killed since she had a friend who helped her back in the day at the sheriff's department. She tells her that the first full moon is going to hurt, but she's tough and can handle it. She then sees come out of the clearing when Kayla leaves and is touched by what he tells her. She notices Klaus' expression on his face and asks him what's wrong. When he tells her that the wolves aren't just disappearing, they're being hunted, her eyes widen in horror.

In Behind the Black Horizon, she approaches Klaus and shows him a list of 10 addresses for Kingmaker. She and Klaus then head to each of the locations to find out why Lucien is behind the wolf kidnappings. They arrive at the Lexville location and it's mentioned that they've been to a few others before this one. Hayley asks if he's sure he wants to be here instead of helping his brothers, but he tells her that they'll keep going even if they have to look over more offices. They walk through the door and when the receptionist calls some guards, she and Klaus fight them off. Afterwards, they continue to look through the building and come upon a door to a laboratory after getting a pass from a scientist. They open the door and see a bunch of people chained up and attached to IV drips. Hayley notices they're all wolves and alive, and when Klaus pulls a curtain back to see a dead vampire, they both are shocked, wondering what's going on. They help out the werewolves and they talk to the last one to see what he can reveal. She then wonders why Lucien needs to test out a cure if there's one that already works. After Klaus gets done talking and learning Freya is safe, Hayley tells him to go as she'll take care of the remaining wolves. She also tells him that she appreciates him helping her and that if there's any chance of making Finn an ally, he needs to go. After Klaus leaves, Hayley pours gasoline all over the laboratory and walks over to the werewolf she helped earlier. She tells him she'll take him back to the Crescents, but he reveals that he's not from that pack, but one was, but he died the previous week. He reveals he's a Paxon and the others are from the others, such as Malraux, Deep Water, BasRoq, Barry and Poldark. When he tells her that they kept giving the vampire werewolf venom over and over again, until the last shot was so powerful it killed her. Hayley is horrified at this revelation and tells him to go outside, and she throws the lighter to the ground, lighting the laboratory up as she walks out. Hayley arrives at the compound and tells Freya, Klaus and Elijah what Lucien was doing in the labs. She tells him that Lucien's venom is derived from the seven original wolf bloodlines that she and Klaus are descended from.

In The Devil Comes Here and Sighs, she runs towards the compound door and sees that it's Cami. When Cami is invited in, she tells Hayley, Freya and Elijah that Lucien took Klaus. When Elijah begins to leave, she tries to stop him and asks if he's seriously going to Lucien alone, who can end him with his bite, she then tells him to be careful. She and Cami then begin their walk towards the penthouse and tells Cami that she can control her emotions, which means she's already one step ahead of Aurora.

As Cami distracts Aurora, Hayley comes up to the apartment and tackles her, plunging her hand into Aurora's chest while Aurora does the same to her. She is then told Aurora drank the serum and pulls her hand out of Aurora's chest. She then looks at Klaus and as she does, Aurora snaps her neck, throws her unconscious body across the room and falls to the ground in a corner. She awakens sometime later and punches Aurora in the face and tells Cami to go ahead and put the syringe in Aurora, which knocks her out.

Hayley walks into the room at the compound to inform Klaus, Elijah and Freya that Aurora is still out cold. She tells Klaus that he should talk to Cami, and despite her telling him staying away might be best, it doesn't stop how she feels.

In No More Heartbreaks, she sits across from Cami and thinks Hope's blood could possibly help cure Cami, but this is just one of the "bets" they have at the moment. She and Elijah then drive off to cabin and before they reach it, she tells him to stay back and she doesn't want to keep on losing people. She then walks past him and retrieves Hope. As their suggestions don't work and Cami dies from the bite, Hayley is sitting around a candle-lit table with Freya and Hope on her lap. She then sits beside Cami's body and tells her that it's not fair how her daughter will never get to know her and that she deserved better. She stands up, wipes away her tears and covers Cami's head with the bed sheets.

In Where Nothing Stays Buried, Hayley joins Klaus on his journey to find Rebekah's body, which Klaus buried somewhere in the Bayou. After the two found her coffin, they received a call from Elijah who told them that Freya must break the circle which is keeping Davina's spirit safe, to draw power from the Ancestral Plane and finally kill Lucien once and for all. Hayley and Klaus both disagreed, stating that she's just a kid and by doing that, they'll be losing both Kol and Marcel from their side. As the two got into a car and started driving back to the city, they got into a huge car crash which completely destroyed their vehicle. Klaus wakes up only to be confronted by Lucien, who was coming after Rebekah. As the two are fighting, Hayley pulls out a piece of wood that was stuck in her stomach, rushes to Klaus' location and quickly attacks Lucien with a shovel. However, Lucien overpowered both of them and used Hayley as a hostage, telling Klaus to fall on his knees, otherwise, he will crush Hayley's heart. At that very moment, Elijah appears out of nowhere, punches Lucien and rescues Hayley, while Freya casts the spell which reverses Lucien's upgraded form, making him an ordinary vampire again. Without showing any mercy, Klaus removed Lucien's heart and along with Hayley and his siblings, they returned to the compound. Later, while Elijah was sitting alone by the fireplace, he was approached by Hayley. As the two were having a moment, Elijah hugged Hayley and kissed her on the forehead.

In Give 'Em Hell Kid, she walks with Klaus and Elijah alongside other mourners behind Cami's coffin. She is then at Rousseau's and asks Elijah how Klaus is, as he is seen standing by the coffin. She is then sitting at the edge of her bed until Elijah walks in telling her he took Marcel's life, and she tries to comfort him. She goes to the balcony where Klaus is and tells him Elijah is hurting too. She tells him that he has to forgive Elijah and he before he walks away from her, he tells her she sounds like Cami. She joins Elijah by the fireplace and tells him that he has to forgive himself, and he then kisses her passionately.

In The Bloody Crown, she is in bed with Elijah and says despite everything they've done and lost, they're still here. She tells him that he's not alone and they then kiss. After vampires begin attacking the compound, she saves Freya by killing two vampires and takes her away as Freya has now been poisoned. They go to her and Jackson's apartment, and Hayley gives her blood to help her for the time being. Hayley says there might be one thing that might be able to stop Marcel. At Lucien's penthouse, they begin to search for the antidote, but can't find it. Not much later, Elijah, Klaus and Kol burst in and she sees two of the brothers have been bitten. She comes into the room where Klaus is with Hope and she wants to come with him. He tells her the vampires want him and that when he refused to trust her with their daughter and took her away, he was wrong. He then says to take care of her and leaves. As time goes by, Kol's hallucinations get worse and she tries to calm him down by saying that Davina is at peace. As Elijah shivers on the bed, he tells her to get as far away as she can and he wants her to be happy, and then kisses her goodbye. She receives a call from Rebekah and is told by her to make her brother's sacrifice count. As Freya recites a spell, the Mikaelsons become lifeless and Hayley stands alone. When night falls, she looks at the coffins holding the siblings and gives a finger kiss to Elijah. She then climbs in the front of the moving truck and straps Hope in. She then starts the engine and leaves the city limits, looking to find a way to save the siblings.

In Gather Up the Killers, at home Hayley walks up some stairs into an attic and sees a coffin. She opens the coffin and sees a desiccated Elijah. She then goes into Hope's bedroom. After they hear a truck coming onto the property Hayley leaves Hope's bedroom and meets with Mary Dumas. Hayley tells her she is doing everything she can to cure them so they can wake up. She then tells Mary that she can't continue to watch Hope all by herself and to teach her about Hope's magic. She needs help by waking up the originals she tells Mary this is the only option she has. Mary hands her a piece of paper with another wolfpack's name on it. To help with the cure. Hayley takes the paper from Mary.

TO401-055~Hayley-Hope

Hayley says goodbye to Hope

Hayley closes a truck with the coffins of the Mikaelson Family. She says her goodbyes to Hope and tells her she will be back soon. Hayley hugs Hope and tells her Mary is now in charge and Hope is okay with that. Mary tells her to be safe. And to run in the sight of danger. She tells Mary everything she does is for Hope. Hayley gets in the truck and leaves.

Sometime later in Austin, Texas, Hayley finds herself at a bar. There she meets Keelin. She tells her she knows she's a werewolf and shows her she's also a werewolf by changing her eye color. Hayley tells her she just needs a few minutes of her time and to meet her outside. As Keelin tries to run away from Hayley. Hayley catches up to her and tells her she will help whether she likes it or not. Hayley hears some voices in the distant and then she slams Keelin's head against a wall knocking her out. Hayley takes Keelin's body and runs.

Hayley is in some building with Keelin. Hayley is putting some vials together. She tells Keelin to calm down. Telling her she won't hurt her. She tells her she saved her life. She tells Keelin she's a Hybrid. She tells Keelin considering that she saved her life. She owes Hayley some respect. Hayley tells Keelin if she wants to survive she will do everything Hayley tells her to do. Hayley tells Keelin all she needs is her venom. Hayley opens Freya's coffin and tells her Freya and her family are dying. She then tells Keelin that Freya is the only one who can wake up the others. She tells Keelin she wants her venom and for Freya to wake up. When she has both she will let Keelin go.

After Hayley gets Keelin's venom she takes a needle with the cure in it and stabs Freya with it. As Freya wakes up Hayley hugs her. As Freya tries to start her spell Hayley hears some random cars coming. Freya tells her she needs some time and Hayley runs. Hayley finds the vampires chasing her and Keelin and rips the hearts out of some. She is ready to fight. She continues to fight and kill. The lead vampire tells her she might be strong but she is outnumbered. Hayley turns into a wolf and kills the leader. By jumping on him and ripping his throat out. After she is done fighting she sees Elijah he gives her his jacket and she turns around to kiss and hug him. After she finds some new clothes Hayley and Elijah talk. They talk about their feelings towards each other and they talk about Hope. They then decide its time to save Klaus.

In No Quarter, Hayley, along with the Mikaelson Family, are outside New Orleans. There are bodies of prisoners that Elijah and Kol killed. She tells them she knows someone who can get Klaus back. They talk about what blood can be used for, that it can be used for different kinds of spells. Hayley gives Hope's hairbrush to Freya. She realizes that it's the Hollow's magic and something isn't right.

Hayley tries to talk with "Hope" again, to play some chess and have a snack together. Enough with the charade, Hayley demands the Hollow to return her daughter to her. The Hollow tells her she's too strong and Hope will give up soon, so the Hollow will have a chance to be in complete control of Hope's body. The Hollow throws Hayley through a glass door, but Freya comes in to save Hayley. She uses a sleeping powder to knock out the Hollow. Hayley grabs her daughter's body and lays her down on the couch. She then offers to be bound first with the Hybrid Curse, giving Hope a better chance of being found and rescued by Klaus. After killing the witch, Hayley tells Hope to go without her, but Greta uses Hope's hesitation to knock her out with sleeping powder. Hayley's pinned to a wall by Greta and, in a rush of adrenaline, Hayley wrenches free and leaps for Greta, tearing off her finger which holds the daylight ring. They burst through the doors and fall together in the sunlight and both instantly burst into flames as Klaus looks on and screams at the sight of Hayley's burning corpse.

In The Tale of Two Wolves, she sees that Hope has appeared in the afterlife and tells her it's not her time yet. When Hope apologizes for what she had done to lead to her death, Hayley forgives her. After Hope tells her she wants to stay and keep her company, Hayley shows her she's not alone as they see Jackson, and that both her parents and Mary are there as well. She tells her to go back and live her life, but before she does, she asks Hope to pass a message on to Elijah.

In When The Saints Go Marching In, Hope paints as Klaus prepares to sacrifice himself. Hayley watches over her daughter with a smile from peace. Hayley disappears unnoticed, but Hope briefly seems to sense her presence.

Werewolf Hayley

Hayley is described as tough as nails and she can, at times, be protective. She can be somewhat of a tomboy, in that she doesn't buy into the usual expectations held for teenage girls; she scoffs at high school pretenses, doesn't seem to get on well with other girls, and holds her own against her male counterparts. Hayley is at times immature, impulsive and tends to speak before she thinks, which can get her into trouble. She is a highly skilled manipulator with extremely questionable morals, she has proven she is willing to do anything to get what she wants (including betraying those she claims to care about); even at the expense of others' lives. She has gone so far as to help orchestrate a mass murder (of 12 hybrids she called friends) for no other reason than to simply get the name of her parents. At times she is shown to value her friends but on the other hand, with only a small amount of remorse, is willing to sacrifice those friends to achieve her ends. Her unstoppable passion to find her biological family suggests an inner vulnerability that she often covers up with provocative or immature remarks and behavior. In her own way she is terrified of Klaus, Hayley tries to hide this but Klaus always manages to see right through her.

In The Originals, Hayley's personality is further explored. Her determination to learn more about where she came from seems to be the reason for her behavior in the past. She has become stronger and more reliable, especially to her fellow werewolves. Her impending motherhood has also made her more tender and dedicated to keeping her child safe. She has also expressed a desire to raise the child alongside Klaus. She is able to handle herself very well despite her delicate state, even holding her own against threats like Mikael.

However, Hayley is also a hypocrite, when she learnt from Tyler that Klaus is (supposedly) that their child's blood can make hybrids, and he plans to use their child's blood once she is born to make an army of hybrids to take over New Orleans, as she quickly condemned him for this supposed action of his, however, she once used Tyler for her own selfishness, even if it was to find out where she came from, and who her family is, which indirectly resulted in Tyler's mother's death, as well as ruining his life.

Hayley has a deep hatred for the witches of the New Orleans, partly because they used her for their own selfishness, as well as the fact that a member of their coven Celeste Dubois, cursed her pack, and mainly because the witches tried to kill her unborn child.

"I'm a hybrid now. I have a werewolf temper to go with my new appetite. And the witches that tried to kill my baby...they're worth nothing more than food."
—Hayley
Hybrid Hayley

Werewolf-Vampire Hybrid Hayley

Hayley was transformed into a hybrid by her daughter's blood. Hayley died shortly after giving birth to her daughter but her daughter's blood was in her system at the time. When she awakes she shows the ability to know where her baby is, even if she is hidden from her by a powerful spell. She is also a very protective mother; it is especially shown in the scene where she kills Genevieve, because she tried to kill her daughter, Hope Mikaelson. She puts her daughter's safety and fate before her own needs by giving up her daughter to Rebekah, even if it breaks her heart.

Hayley's hatred for the witches became worse than ever, partly because of her heightened emotions, and mainly because they tried to kill her newborn daughter.

In Season Two, Hayley goes on a rampage against those for making her give up Hope. She goes down a dark path, becoming ruthless, cold, and cruel. She shows herself with power and will be trying to find out who she is now. Hayley will have a tough time with what she is now as she never wanted to be a vampire. When she kills Francesca, this seems to impact her immensely, causing her to go on a spree of tearing up Hope's nursery. She states that she doesn't feel any better. She wants to go back to being a werewolf as she doesn't want to live as a vampire and hates being one. Klaus takes on a mentoring role, teaching Hayley how to use her new hybrid status to her advantage.

She has also shown several arrogant traits. She tells Elijah that she doesn't need a caretaker, as "hybrids are invincible", despite being the one responsible for arranging Klaus' massacre of twelve hybrids. She is also confident in her belief that she could take down both Esther and Finn, despite the latter taking down both Klaus and Elijah, and the former being one of the most powerful witches in history, and the one responsible for the creation of vampires. This almost costs her when she faces Finn, and she only survives thanks to the intervention of Jackson.

Despite her arrogance she is still terrified of Klaus, even though she has a good relationship with the latter, Hayley does not learn from her mistakes, as she arrogantly threatened Dahlia an immensely powerful immortal witch, this arrogance of hers costs Hayley when Dahlia places her under the Crescent Curse.

Hayley has also become extremely paranoid, far more than Klaus, believing that Klaus will always be a threat to their daughter, because he made enemies over the years, believing that they will hurt Hope to get revenge on Klaus, her attempt to take Hope away from Klaus ultimately turned the latter against her.

Hayley has become far more hypocritical, after Klaus apparently joined forces with Dahlia, after she tried to take their daughter away from him, and after he had Dahlia, place her under the Crescent Curse, before she was fully transformed into her wolf form, Hayley uses her final moments to try and reason with Klaus, pleading with him to see that Dahlia will take Hope away from them, only for Klaus to call her out on her hypocritical nature, and coldly remind Hayley that she was the one who tried to take Hope away from him not Dahlia.

Hayley has displayed a capacity for being sympathetic to the struggles of others, most notably Davina and Cami, and gave them the advice and support that they needed at the time. In both situations, Hayley was unapologetic and blunt but well-meaning, earning her the friendship of both women.

Losing Jackson has become a turning point for Hayley, as she refused to embrace her long-dormant feelings for Elijah as she feels it is an insult to her husband's memory as well as resorting to murdering every single member of the Strix who had a hand in Jackson's death. However, she has not gone completely off the rails as she was able to help Cami process her new identity as a vampire and continues to work alongside the Mikaelsons in fending off their enemies. Her dynamic with Klaus has also improved to some degree, showing appreciation for him not leaving her side as they investigated Lucien's clandestine activities and even following closely after Klaus to aid in the fight against Lucien and Aurora.

Physical Appearance[]

Hayley is a strikingly gorgeous female hybrid with light olive skin, hazel green eyes, and dark brown hair. Her hair is shoulder length and is usually worn loose, though sometimes is pulled up in a ponytail, a half up, or rarely, a french braid. She is tall with an athletic but slim figure. As a Labonair on her right shoulder, lies the Crescent birthmark.

Forever-21-marled-shawl-cardigan

According to Rebekah, Hayley's daughter, Hope, looks just like Hayley.

Her style is natural, edgy and relaxed, favoring an earthy color palette with plaid and floral prints. Often she pairs soft, feminine pieces such as fashionable dresses and skirts with leather or denim, such as belts, boots, or jeans. She has been seen to wear many accessories such as large, dangle earrings, long pendants, necklaces and a variety of rings. On occasions, such as the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant, she chose to dress up in a more formal style. Towards the end of her pregnancy, she wears a lot of dresses. Her wolf form is grey and brown and has yellow/gold glowing eyes.

Powers and Abilities[]

Hayley possessed the standard powers and abilities of a non-Evolved werewolf.

She is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant as she defeated, pregnant, witches that came to kill her and Hope; She uses objects to her advantage. She is very skilled with kick/punch combos Hayley faced, unarmed, four witches armed with machetes and crossbows and managed to kill them with her bare hands. During her pregnancy, she didn't transform due to her daughter and healed faster than a regular werewolf.

After completing her transition, due to her daughter's blood, she possessed all the standard powers and abilities of an non-Original werewolf-vampire hybrid.

Hayley's physical strength was seemingly unusually strong even for a non-original werewolf-vampire hybrid. She was stronger than some non-Original vampires and has shown to be able to fight vampires of greater age as well, consistently defying normal expectation of such outcomes. Hayley was also able to stagger Klaus with her attacks more than Marcel could, a vampire of two centuries; though still no match for Klaus or any other Original, who all easily exceeds her powers and skills as shown in Fire with Fire. Hayley is currently the strongest non-original werewolf-vampire hybrid in the world especially since that she is now the only one in existence. As seen in You Hung the Moon, she got into a heated fight with Klaus and attacked him, however he was not fighting back, simply allowing her to vent her anger. In Beautiful Mistake, Hayley along with Marcel, a vampire of notable skill and power, were both easily overpowered and defeated by Shen Min, a non-Original vampire who was over 800 years old and suffering from Hayley's bite, both would have most definitely been killed by him if it had not been for Elijah's intervention. Curiously however, Hayley somehow was able to subdue and capture Shen in their first encounter. Other ancient vampires, such as Aya Al-Rashid and Aurora, are also able to subdue her because of their skill, power and age. Aurora, the second sired vampire in existence with equal age to the first, noted that Hayley was strong for an infant; however, just like with Klaus, she is no match for Aurora.

Hayley continued to show great skill in physical combat, such as fighting multiple vampires at once and defeating all of them, seemingly one by one. She even moved fast enough that some of them couldn't even counter her attacks and could remove their hearts in the blink of an eye. Recently, Hayley demonstrated yet another unusual level of her powers by transforming into her wolf form within seconds, something that takes werewolves hours to complete, even previous Hybrids such as Tyler Lockwood was unable to transform at such speed. While in her werewolf form she was able to completely dismember them in seconds.

After her werewolf nature was bound, Hayley possessed all the standard powers and abilities of a non-Original vampire.

Weaknesses[]

Hayley originally had the typical weaknesses of a non-Evolved werewolf until she completed her transition into a non-Original werewolf-vampire hybrid. After her werewolf nature was bound, she had the typical weaknesses of a non-Original vampire.

Hayley and Hope

Hayley fell pregnant with her baby after her one-night-stand with Klaus. She discovered her pregnancy in New Orleans and because of her pregnancy she was used by the Deveraux sisters to build an alliance with the Original Family. Hayley was first worried about becoming a mother and her pregnancy and even considered to abort the fetus. However during a vampire attack she realized that she will never let anyone hurt her baby and will always protect her child, what she did numerous times (fighting against witches and Tyler Lockwood to protect her baby). She then learned that she will have a daughter which enjoyed her and she softly prepared herself to become a mother. Hayley even cares about her daughter's survival more than about her own as it can be seen when she fought against Mikael. In order to protect her from the people that are trying to kill her, Hayley and Klaus decided it was better to send her away to Rebekah until the city was safe for her to return. After Hope's departure, Hayley falls into depression. She killed Francesca Guerrera, witches of the New Orleans Coven and even wolves to have her vengeance. She also told to Klaus that she will never find peace and her pain will not fade until she can hold Hope in her arms again. She was finally able to hold her daughter again when she was reunited with Hope in The Map of Moments. Hope returned home on her mother's wedding day to Jackson Kenner and lived in the compound with her mother, father, uncle Elijah and new stepfather Jackson.

Hayley attempted to run away with Hope due to the increasing danger brought on by Dahlia and Klaus' family. Hayley left a voicemail for Elijah and told him she no longer wanted her daughter to be a Mikaelson. Hayley and Jackson were soon found by Klaus and Dahlia. Klaus took custody of their child after offering Dahlia the alternative of cursing Hayley instead of killing her.

Hayley was human for only five hours once a month under the full moon, Elijah took Hope to see her mother on those occasions.

Hayley missed her daughter's first steps due to the Curse, and saw her baby walk for the first time in You Hung The Moon. As of that episode, Hayley regained custody of her baby and moved out to live outside the compound with Hope and Jackson, just in eyesight and earshot of Klaus.

After Jackson's death, Hayley briefly returned to the compound but has since left New Orleans with her daughter and the Mikaelsons in coffins in a sleeping spell.

Jackson and Hayley

Jackson was Hayley's husband. Jackson comes from the same werewolf clan as Hayley. Their parents knew each other while growing up. Jackson never got the chance to know Hayley and shows interest in her as she was supposed to be his wife.

Jackson has watched Hayley as a wolf for years, so he's had a lot of time to get to know her. They have shown to care for each other. They have grown closer after she decided to her move to the bayou. They occasionally spend time together and work together to figure out what's best for the werewolf clan. Jackson is attacked in a deleted scene in The Battle of New Orleans for failing to join Oliver and Francesca, and so returns to the bayou where he meets Ansel and learns from him.

Reunited in Wheel Inside the Wheel, Hayley is frustrated at Jackson for not doing his job as the alpha wolf but eventually gets over it when she needs his help to help save the pack from Esther's control. In order to save the pack, Haley makes the decision to get engaged to Jackson, despite her feelings for Elijah. They believe that with her and Jackson's betrothal, the pack will be able to gain all of Hayley's hybrid abilities.

Jackson and Hayley get married in the compound and Jackson moves in with Hayley to live there with her and his new stepdaughter. Jackson formulates a plan and makes Hayley choose between him and the Mikaelsons, Hayley chooses him and Hayley and Jackson try to run away with Hope to keep her safe from Dahlia. Klaus finds them and curses both Jackson and Hayley to be human for only five hours once a month on the full moon.

With the curse broken in You Hung the Moon, Jackson and Hayley now live together with Hope in an apartment opposite the compound. Shortly after settling down as a couple raising Hope, Tristan de Martel kidnaps both Jackson and Hayley. Tristan makes Hayley watch him kill Jackson. Hayley is currently grieving Jackson's loss both as a husband and as a friend. Decades later, Hayley sacrificed her life to save her daughter and found peace after her death. It is revealed later that Hayley has found peace with Jackson and other deceased werewolves from her family.

The Originals - Episode 2

Hayley was immediately and openly antagonistic towards Klaus, to which he often responded kindly, though with amusement. Though he will casually threaten her during an argument, Klaus has yet to make good on any of his threats against her, which Hayley relishes pointing out. He eventually tries to make a deal with her; protection from Katherine, in exchange for information about Katherine's whereabouts and activities but Hayley remains coy throughout their exchanges. During his interrogation of her, they eventually have sex and Klaus alludes to knowing something about Hayley's family when he notices a peculiar birthmark on her back. They appear to have become allies, with Klaus in pursuit of Katherine and Hayley in pursuit of knowledge about her family. Later on, she is proven to be pregnant with his daughter, and their relationship remains neutral although it turns negative after she falsely accuses him of using their baby's blood to create hybrids and he attempts to eliminate her werewolf kin. In Après Moi, Le Déluge, Klaus has shown to care about Hayley, outside the baby and shares with her the discovery of his werewolf clan. They are honest with each other and are currently working together to protect their child as well as protecting each other. However, they do disagree with the best way to protect their daughter.

Unfortunately, Hayley's relationship with Klaus takes a turn for the worse when Hayley tried to take Hope away from Klaus, as punishment for trying to take Hope away from him, Klaus had Dahlia place the Crescent Curse on Hayley and her pack.

Hayley returns to the compound in You Hung The Moon and hits Klaus, shouting at him for destroying their relationship and what it's done to their daughter. She begs him to fight back but he allows her to beat him bloody until she realizes her baby is behind her.

Hayley declares her hate for Klaus because she missed her baby's first steps, and removes the child from his custody, moving out with Jackson and her daughter.

By the end of season three, Klaus and Hayley have reconciled and are now partners for their daughter. Hayley spent five years trying to find a way to save her family, including Klaus.

In season four, Hayley and the Mikaelson siblings are working together to save Klaus from Marcel's torment. When that is successful, Klaus helps raise Hope briefly before he must leave their daughter yet again (because of the Hollow). This time, Klaus separates himself from Hayley and their daughter for nearly seven years. After Klaus kills a couple of people in front of Hope (when she astral-projected to see him), he breaks contact with Hayley. Despite not keeping contact, Klaus still sent Hope letters through Hayley. However, when Klaus is forced to return to New Orleans when Hayley is kidnapped by Purist vampires, they share a brief reunion before Hayley sacrifices her life to save Hope's life. Klaus is both shocked and distraught having to deal with Hayley's death.

Elijah Mikaelson[]

Elijah finds out that Hayley isn't dead

The relationship between Elijah and Hayley began once Elijah was made aware of Hayley's pregnancy with his brother's child. Elijah shows his family history to her, to explain how it is possible that she's carrying a Hybrid child and promises to protect her. A few days later Hayley is reading Elijah's journals and learn more about him and his feelings about his siblings. When Klaus asks what about his brother that inspires admiration, Hayley says that Elijah was kind to her. Once Elijah and Hayley are reunited, she slaps him and tells him not to make promises he can't keep. When Agnes attempts to kill Hayley's child in utero, Elijah manages to keep her temperature down by holding her against him in the swimming pool until Davina unlinks them and the effects of the needle cease. Hayley returns the favor, refusing to leave his side whilst suffering the effects of Klaus' bite. Elijah also saves Hayley's werewolf kin from being slaughtered at Klaus' command. It is clear they feel an attraction towards each other, however due to other factors, do not act upon them. After many attempts for them to have their first kiss, when Hayley was about to die because Mikael's threat, Elijah was very afraid of losing her and he decided to open up to her about what he felt, after hearing Elijah's words, Hayley decides to take the first step and kiss him. Hayley and Elijah are still in love in with each other more than ever now since the death of Hayley's husband Jackson. However, Elijah is forced to go into a magical slumber for five years until Hayley is able to find a cure for the Mikaelson family. After their dealings with the Hollow, Hayley and Elijah are forced to part ways because of Hope's safety. Elijah decides to have Marcel compel himself to forget about "always and forever," which included his memories of his siblings and Hayley.

Both of them move on in their own ways after Elijah forgets about Hayley. Elijah rediscovers himself as a vampire and meets another vampire woman along the way. Hayley stays in New Orleans to raise her daughter and finds love again with a human. When Purist vampires come to attack New Orleans, kidnap Hayley, and then also take her daughter, they reunite briefly. While battling the Purist vampires, Hayley is surprised to see Elijah, but realizes his memories of her are gone when he helps one of the Purist vampires instead of Hayley during their fight. Hayley whispers Elijah's name, as if begging for him to help, which he only briefly acknowledges. Hayley is later forced to sacrifice her life to save Hope, which ends any relationship she might have redeveloped with Elijah. Elijah feels only a bit remorseful being he didn't know who Hayley was at the time. However, when Elijah is granted his memories back, he collapses when he remembers who Hayley was to him. Elijah is currently grieving Hayley's loss.

Tyler and Hayley

Tyler and Hayley seem to have met in the Appalachian Mountains when Tyler was trying to break his sire bond to Klaus. As another werewolf, Hayley earned Tyler's trust and helped him turn over and over again until he finally broke the sire bond. Although he had told her that he lived in a trailer park in Florida, she eventually found out where he lived due to a hybrid that she knew and that he had a wealthy family. Once she showed up at Tyler's house, Klaus immediately suspected Tyler's secrecy about Hayley was born of him cheating on Caroline with her. They let Klaus continue to believe this in order to distract him from the fact that they were systematically unsiring his hybrids from him. Although Hayley ultimately betrayed Tyler, she seems to have genuinely cared for him, as she refused to allow Tyler to be used in the sacrifice. Their friendship effectively ended when Hayley revealed to him her part in the massacre of his pack. Later, they become enemies when Tyler tries to take her life and her then-unborn daughter's life away from each other. After this, Tyler is forced to leave New Orleans and the two never speak again.

  • Hayley is a given name that comes from a surname that was originally derived from the name of an English town meaning "hay clearing".
  • Marshall is of English and Scottish origin. It comes from Middle English, Old French status or occupational name, maresc(h)al 'marshal'. The term 'marshal' comes from Germanic origin marah "horse", "mare" + scalc "servant".[1]
  • Kenner is Gaelic and means "brave chieftain".[2]
  • Hayley's birthname, Andrea, is a feminine form of Andrew and originates from Italy. It means "manly".[3]
  • Labonair may be derived from Bonaire. This interesting name has a number of possible origins, each with its own distinct derivation. Firstly, the surname may be of Old French origin, derived from the Old French term "bonnaire", from the phrase "de bon(ne) aire", meaning "of good bearing or appearance", and adopted into Middle English as "boner(e), bonour", gentle, courteous, handsome, thence used as a nickname for someone thought to embody these qualities. The surname from this source is found particularly in England and Scotland; one Thomas Boner was the first of the name to be recorded in Scotland as a charter witness in Aberdeen in 1281. Secondly, Bonner may be an Irish (County Donegal) translation of the Gaelic "O'Cnaimhsighe", descendant of Cnaimhseach, a byname meaning "Midwife". Finally, the surname may be of Welsh origin, as an Anglicized form of the patronymic "ab Ynyr", son of Ynyr, a personal name derived from the Latin "Honorius", Honoured.[4]
