Island Campsite

Island Campsite is a campsite on an island off the coast of Nova Scotia, near where the former immortal, Silas, was entombed for nearly 2,000 years. It was also where most of the Mystic Falls Gang camped while they prepared to obtain the Cure. The campsite also has a cabin.

History[]

Not so long ago, a group of college kids had come to the island for spring break. A few weeks later, they were all found dead and drained of their blood.

Season Four[]

In Into the Wild, Shane, Elena, Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, Jeremy, and Rebekah camped here while they readied themselves to raise Silas and the cure by the following morning. During the night, Jeremy was kidnapped, and Bonnie was led away by her own tracking spell by Massak, who was working for Shane. After attempting to interrogate Shane, Damon abandoned the camp, and Shane fled with the headstone, eventually meeting back up with Bonnie and Jeremy to go to Silas' tomb alone. Elena, Stefan and Rebekah decided to look past their own rivalries and made a pact to stick together in their quest to find the Cure.

In Stand By Me, Damon returned to the camp in search of Bonnie. Once there, he instead found Rebekah. After relaying the circumstances of the situation involving the Cure, they ventured off to search the Island for any sign of Bonnie, Katherine or the Cure itself.
