Bianca Lawson is an American actress who played Emily Bennett on The Vampire Diaries. She's mainly known for her roles on TV series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bones. Bianca currently appears on MTV'S series Teen Wolf and ABC Family's drama TV series called Pretty Little Liars and played in Lifetime series Witches of East End.
Bianca Lawson was born on March 20, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She started acting at the age of nine. She has appeared in television commercials for Barbie and Revlon and in several television shows. On Buffy the Vampire Slayer she portrayed Kendra Young, another Vampire Slayer who is activated as a result of the temporary death of title character, Buffy Summers. She appeared in 4 episodes (three alive, one as a corpse). But Kendra was killed off in Part One of the season 2 finale, Becoming.
She has also appeared on The WB's Dawson's Creek, where she portrayed Nikki Green, the daughter of the high school's new principal and competitor of the show's title character Dawson Leery. She has had roles in Saved by the Bell: The New Class and films such as Save the Last Dance and Breakin' All the Rules.
In December 2009, Lawson was cast as Maya St. Germain in the TV series Pretty Little Liars based on the book series by Sara Shepard.
She a daughter of Denise (née Gordy) and Richard Lawson, an actor.
- In the series "Nikita" she is also named Emily and in "Pretty Little Liars" she played a girl who dated Emily (played by Shay Mitchell), who was also courted by Claire Holt's character, Samara Cook.
- Her father, Richard Lawson, is now married to Tina Knowles, mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, making her a step-sister of these two.
- Special appeared in 500 Years of Solitute (100th episode of The Vampire Diaries), along with David Anders, Sara Canning, Matt Davis, Kayla Ewell, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt and Joseph Morgan.
